Due to increasing heat in the city, drinking water supply is getting affected. On Tuesday, water was distributed from tankers at Malla Plot of Damuwadhunga, Kusumkheda and Haripur Gangu in Chauphula area. In Malla plot, work has to be done with tankers throughout the year. Here people collect water on the road and transport it to their homes through pipes etc. More than 10 families have been affected here over the years.

The frequency of tankers increased to fill water

The price of a tanker of water is Rs 500 to Rs 700. These days 25 to 30 tankers of water are being supplied by the Jal Sansthan. On normal days this number remains around 10 to 15. Due to non-functioning of the tube well of Jal Sansthan located in Tikonia campus, tankers have to go to Sheeshmahal, three km away, to fill water. Jal Sansthan officials said that mostly tankers fill water from this tube well. It will take three to four days to heal.

New Delhi: Nearly 12 lakh households have so far conducted self-enumeration across 11 states and union territories for the Houselisting Operation (HLO) phase of Census 2027. More than half of these families have availed the self-enumeration facility in the last 4-5 days.With the conclusion of the 15-day self-enumeration window on Wednesday in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Goa, Karnataka, Odisha, NDMC and cantonment areas of Delhi NCR, Mizoram, Sikkim and Lakshadweep, field census operations, involving door-to-door enumeration, will begin in eight states/UTs from Thursday.These field operations will continue for one month i.e. till 15th May. Given that the 12 lakh households enumerated so far constitute only a small percentage of the total population of the eight states, the enumerator’s visit will be important to obtain complete and accurate data on housing conditions and household amenities.A Home Ministry spokesperson on Monday said the HLO phase of the census forms an essential basis for evidence-based planning and formulation of welfare and development programmes.The self-count window is open till April 19 in Gujarat and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu and till April 24 in Uttarakhand. During field visits, enumerators will use a dedicated mobile application to collect data digitally to ensure high accuracy and fast processing.

बलिया समाचार: उत्तर प्रदेश के बलिया जिले से एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना सामने आई है, जहां एक मामूली विवाद ने एक परिवार को बर्बाद कर दिया. रसड़ा थाना क्षेत्र के नाथूपुर गांव में गेहूं के बंटवारे को लेकर हुए झगड़े में एक बेटे ने अपने ही माता-पिता पर हमला कर दिया. इस हमले में पिता की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि मां गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गईं. बताया जा रहा है कि इस बात को लेकर पिछले दो दिनों से परिवार में तनाव चल रहा था. घटना के बाद पूरे गांव में सनसनी फैल गई है और पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुट गई है.

बेटी को गेहूं देने से नाराज था बेटा
जानकारी के मुताबिक, मृतक महेंद्र चौहान (75) और उनकी पत्नी शैला देवी (68) ने अपनी बेटी को दो बोरा गेहूं दिया था. इससे उसका बेटा पप्पू चौहान नाराज हो गया. पप्पू ने अपने पिता से सवाल किया कि उन्होंने अपनी बहन को गेहूं क्यों दिया। इसी बात को लेकर घर में विवाद शुरू हो गया, जो धीरे-धीरे बढ़ता गया।
