New Delhi: The first women Mount Everest expedition team of Border Security Force has successfully climbed the world’s highest peak, creating history under #MissionVandeMataram.The team comprising Constable Kausar Fatima from Ladakh, Constable Munmun Ghosh from West Bengal, Constable Rebecca Singh from Uttarakhand and Constable Tsering Chorol from Kargil reached the summit of Mount Everest (8,848.86 metres) at 8am (IST) on Thursday.Celebrating Diamond Jubilee Year of BSF, Women Border Guards took the spirit of ‘Vande Mataram’ to the top of the world.
