Signed by around 70 newly elected Trinamool MLAs, it was alleged that the signatures of the MLAs were forged. A complaint was lodged at Hare Street PS.Banerjee did not attend her summons at Bhawani Bhavan on Monday citing health reasons. He reportedly asked for a few weeks’ time after his recovery to attend the summons.CID officials personally served the summons at his Kalighat home on Saturday afternoon. In the evening, during his visit to Sonarpur to meet the family of a Trinamool worker allegedly killed in post-poll violence, he was attacked with stones and eggs.
