While users were facing issues accessing ChatGPT, OpenAI’s official status page also acknowledged the outage. The company referred to the issue as “increased latency and errors impacting both ChatGPT and the API.”
Furthermore, according to the official OpenAI status page, the service is now back online and the latency issue has been fixed. The official page reads, “Performance is now back to normal”.
To verify this, TOI Tech team also tried accessing ChatGPT through web as well as mobile app and ChatGPT appeared to be working properly on both the places without any issues.
