NCR में CNG के दाम फिर बढ़े; 2 दिनों में दूसरी बार बढ़ोतरी से दिल्ली में कीमतें 80 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम के पार पहुंच गईं

Delhi-NCR has seen another hike in CNG prices, rising by Rs 1 per kg to Rs 80.09 after increasing by Rs 2 just two days ago.

New Delhi: Residents of Delhi-NCR are facing another hike in fuel prices as compressed natural gas (CNG) prices were hiked again on Sunday, the second hike in just two days. With the latest revision, CNG prices in Delhi have increased by Rs 1 per kg to Rs 80.09 per kg, while consumers in Noida and Ghaziabad will now have to pay Rs 88.70 per kg.The latest hike comes after gas companies had already increased CNG prices by Rs 2 per kg on May 15. After that revision, the price in Delhi had increased from Rs 77.09 per kg to Rs 79.09 per kg.The latest hike comes after a widespread increase in fuel prices across the country. Earlier this week, petrol and diesel prices were increased by Rs 3 per liter amid rising global energy prices linked to the ongoing conflict in West Asia. After the revision, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 97.77 per liter, up from Rs 94.77, while diesel prices have increased from Rs 87.67 to Rs 90.67 per litre.State-owned oil companies said the increase in CNG prices was part of efforts to offset increased input costs due to volatility in international energy markets. However, sources told news agency PTI that the current hike still covers only a fraction of the rise in global fuel prices since the conflict escalated in West Asia.
