Along with a popular photo of him and Anne, he wrote “In loving memory of Ken Harwood 1948 – 2026” and dedicated the episode to him.Harwood, who was from Consett, County Durham, died last week at the age of 77 after battling illness, the studio confirmed.“He will be greatly missed by his wife Anne, sons Simon and Ross, daughter-in-law Elle, grandchildren Freya and Tristram and everyone who knew him,” the statement shared after his death said. Harwood worked as postmaster for three decades and later became a local councillor. He officially retired in 2013.
