actors Tovino Thomas And Nazariya Nazim surprised fans by unveiling the title of his new Malayalam film ‘Gracias El Clasico’ during the famous El Clasico football match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF in Barcelona on Monday. The title was revealed with a fresh poster while both the actors were present at the stadium. He also shared the poster on social media.

About ‘Gracias el Clásico’

‘Gracias el Clásico’ is directed by Muhsin Parari and this is the first time Tovino and Nazriya are acting together in a film. The film also marks Tovino’s reunion with Muhsin after the hit film ‘Thallumala’. The script was written by Muhsin along with Zakaria Mohammed, best known for ‘Nigeria’s Sudanese’.The title launch of the film during a football match created a huge buzz as football is expected to play an important role in the story. Before the match, Tovino tagged Nazriya on social media, leading fans to speculate that a special announcement was coming soon.

Recently talking about the film, Tovino said that Gracias el Clasico is mainly a relationship drama related to family life. He said that the story talks about cousins, marriage, romance and the feelings that people face after moving beyond the normal “happily ever after” stage of a relationship.According to a report in India Today, Tovino said, “The film revolves around both the characters and the people around them.” He also shared that the film focuses on the married life of millennials and 90s kids. According to him, Malayalam cinema has not explored the subject in depth in recent times.

The character of Nazriya is equally important in the film and the story revolves around both the lead characters and their families. The film’s cinematography is by Vishnu Thandassery, editing is by Bless Thomas and music is by Sushin Shyam.
