Manali: Amid the scorching heat hitting many parts of the country, a huge rush of tourists heading to the hill station of Himachal Pradesh Manali on Saturday night caused serious traffic problems, slowing down movement on major routes, leaving travelers stranded for hours.According to news agency ANI, the sudden weekend rush led to long traffic jams in and around the popular tourist destination, with vehicles moving till late night.Narrating his ordeal, a tourist stuck in the traffic jam said, “We have been stuck here for an hour. We are facing a lot of trouble, we are moving very slowly. The traffic should be controlled.”The heavy overcrowding caused considerable inconvenience to commuters, many of whom were seen stuck in long queues of vehicles as they attempted to reach or exit the hill town during peak tourist flow.
