Bhopal: The condition of 27-month-old injured Indian-origin female cheetah KGP11, rescued from Kuno National Park, remains critical after veterinarians confirmed internal bleeding during her second health checkup on Thursday.KGP11 was found injured near Pahargarh area of Morena district on June 1, when a tracking team noticed unusual behavior and alerted park authorities.Kuno’s veterinary team arrived at the scene and conducted an initial assessment of the injured kitten.The cheetah was later shifted to the veterinary facility in Palpur for intensive treatment and monitoring. A detailed examination confirmed internal bleeding, after which doctors began medical treatment.Officials said the next few days are crucial as the cheetah will remain under strict surveillance.Kuno Cheetah Project field director Uttam Kumar Sharma said expert veterinarians are continuously monitoring KGP11 and every possible effort is being made to revive the injured kitten.
