
The offense falls under Article 2.3 of the IPL Code of Conduct for players and team officials, which deals with “use of audible obscenity during a match”. The incident occurred during the 19th over of the second innings when Pollard allegedly abused the fourth umpire.

Pollard was found guilty of violating Article 2.3 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which deals with ‘use of audible obscenity during a match’.
“The incident occurred in the 19th over of the second innings when Pollard used abusive language towards the fourth umpire. Pollard pleaded guilty to the offense and accepted the punishment imposed by the match referee, Pankaj Dharmani.”
