Mumbai: The board of Tata Investment Corporation has appointed 67-year-old independent director Bahram Vakil as vice-chairman. Vakil, who joined the board in March 2025, will replace 71-year-old FN Subedar, who retires on reaching the company’s mandatory retirement age of 70 years in September 2025. The lawyer, considered close to Tata Investments chairman Noel Tata, is the co-founder of law firm AZB & Partners. The lawyer previously served on the boards of Trent and Voltas, companies where Noel was chairman for many years.
