New Delhi: Samajwadi Party Shocking claim made on Wednesday regarding the death of leader Ravidas Mehrotra Mulayam Singh YadavYounger son of Pratik Yadav.He alleged that after inquiring about Prateek’s post-mortem report, the doctors told him that the death did not look ‘normal’ and the possible cause could be poison.
Speaking to reporters, Mehrotra said, “His body was brought for postmortem. I asked the reason for his postmortem. The doctor said it was not a normal death. It was a death in critical condition. He said poison could be the cause of his death.”Claiming that there were injury marks on Prateek Yadav’s body, Mehrotra further said, “There were injury marks on his body. They are demanding that the reasons behind Prateek Yadav’s death should be investigated. He had his own gym. He used to exercise in the gym. He was completely healthy. So, how could he die suddenly? He died before reaching the hospital.”Prateek Yadav, step brother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav And husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav died in Lucknow on Wednesday morning at the age of 38.He was brought to the Civil Hospital at around six in the morning, where doctors declared him dead. Prateek was the son of late Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav from his second wife Sadhna Gupta. Despite belonging to one of the most prominent political families of Uttar Pradesh, he largely stayed away from active politics and focused on business and fitness ventures.He ran a famous gym ‘The Fitness Planet’ in Lucknow and was known to maintain an active fitness-oriented lifestyle. He studied at the University of Leeds before returning to India to pursue business interests.Soon after the news of his death emerged, political leaders from all parties expressed grief and condolences.In a post onSamajwadi Party also condoled his demise, saying, “The demise of Prateek Yadav is extremely sad. May God grant peace to the departed soul.”Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the death as ‘extremely heartbreaking’ and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.In a post on Twitter, Adityanath said, “The sudden demise of Prateek Yadav, son of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission Vice-Chairman Aparna Yadav, is extremely saddening. My thoughts are with the bereaved family.”Prateek Yadav was also in the news on social media earlier this year after he publicly spoke about his marital issues with his wife Aparna Yadav.In a post shared on his Instagram account, he had accused Aparna of damaging his relations with his family members and said that he wants to get a divorce.
