The Nilambur Assembly election in Malappuram, Kerala was won by Aryadan Shaukat of the Indian National Congress, defeating CPI(M)’s M. Swaraj by 2,700 votes. The constituency is part of the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, where Congress’s Rahul Gandhi defeated CPI’s Annie Raja by 3,64,422 votes in the 2024 parliamentary election.
