He virtually laid the foundation stone of super-speciality hospitals at Diphu, Jorhat and Barpeta Medical Colleges and Hospitals as well as Swasthya Bhavan and Abhaypuri District Hospital. The Election Commission of India will announce the schedule of Assam Assembly elections at 4 pm. The BJP has been in power here since 2016, when it first came to power in the state.
