Rs 449 crore deal for 20 satellite system navy jammers
New Delhi: The Defense Ministry on Wednesday signed a contract with a Bengaluru-based firm for 20 global navigation satellite system jammers with advanced capabilities for the Navy at a cost of Rs 449 crore with minimum 75% indigenous content.The agreement with Accord Software and Systems was signed before Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh. Its induction will pave the way for safe operations by naval ships in multi-threat environments.
