industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla appreciated on thursday Rashtriya Swayamsevak SanghHe said that the century old organization has continuously stood with the society and the nation through its work over the years.Birla made the remarks while addressing the concluding ceremony of a training camp for RSS volunteers in Nagpur, where the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat Gave the keynote address.Birla, in his address quoted by PTI, said, “Amidst the challenges, the RSS has always stood with the society and the nation. For me, this is the enduring strength of the Sangh, a belief that service must grow with purpose and that nation-building and character-building are lifelong commitments we must make.” Birla also reflected on the changing global order and the opportunities and challenges it presents for India.“Even though these are challenging times, this is India’s time. The world is caught between the competing ambitions of the superpowers,” he said.Highlighting the transformative potential of emerging technologies, Birla said that “Artificial intelligence is at our doorstep. This AI revolution is likely to transform economies and impact many more people than any other recent technological invention.”He said the current period of global uncertainty coincides with an important phase in India’s development journey.“The consequences of this global flow have not been uniform. The challenge for India is that this flow exists at a time when India is on the threshold of its Amrit Kaal (age of nectar),” he said.Emphasizing the need for preparedness, Birla said the most important lesson of history is the value of strengthening national capabilities and resilience.
