New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday directed the Center to file a reply on strengthening the National Testing Agency and making NEET foolproof.The top court said that the government and all concerned authorities should make all efforts to prevent leaking of medical entrance exam question papers. “It is really very sad if something like this happens. We should not let our youth down.” scheduled caste Said.It further said that if this happens again then responsibility should be fixed.Meanwhile, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court that new arrangements have been made for the NEET re-test.“We are working with the youth; the government is seriously concerned about their concerns,” he said.“The Prime Minister is personally monitoring the situation so that there is no loophole left,” he said.This comes after the All India Medical Association and the United Doctors Front filed a petition in the top court, accusing the NTA of failing to protect the integrity of one of India’s biggest and most competitive exams.Earlier, the top court had made strong remarks against the testing agency, saying it was “regretful that NTA has not learned a lesson from the earlier NEET paper leaks.”
