Guwahati: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Gaurav Gogoi said in a social media post that after giving temporary relief to the public during the elections, the government is now imposing the burden of price rise in a phased manner.Gogoi wrote in his post, “Election relief is over, the real era of inflation has begun.”He said that Rahul Gandhi had warned in the Lok Sabha that the prices of petrol, diesel and other fuel products would increase after April 29.Gogoi said that the sudden increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinders has had a direct impact on small traders, shopkeepers, dhaba operators and restaurant and hotel businesses. He said that it is not just inflation, but the result of PM Narendra Modi’s “policy of dedication”, due to which small businesses and common people are facing problems.
