After a slow start to the season, Gujarat Titans are finding their rhythm just when it matters. Following their eight-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, the former champions produced a blistering all-round performance to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by four wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Thursday.After restricting the defending champions to 155 with a disciplined bowling effort, GT crossed the line in 15.5 overs, although not without a bit of a flurry. captain Shubman Gill (43 runs off 18 balls) set the tone by defeating Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood early on with his trademark punches and pulls. RCB then slipped from 79/3 to 96/6 in the space of 17 balls. Although Romario Shepherd (17) and Padikkal tried to save the innings, the latter was bowled by Rashid (2/19) on an inside ball, ending their 30-run partnership.
