But when wrong people are elected, security is compromised, money meant for public development is looted, the safety of daughters and businessmen is at risk and the youth face an identity crisis,” he said.The CM alleged that before 2017, UP was dominated by poor law and order, communal unrest and mafia. He said tourism infrastructure, power projects and employment opportunities are also being expanded across the state.Claiming that development funds are now reaching the beneficiaries directly, the CM said encroachment on the land of poor people will not be tolerated. “People know that bulldozers will demolish encroachments and the seized properties will be used to build houses for the poor,” he said.Referring to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and the Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor, Yogi said public support and voting contributed to these developments as well as better law and order in the state.The CM also announced that proposals have been invited for the expansion of Ghosi sugar mill and said that a medical college is being developed in Mau under the PPP model.Crediting local public representatives for the development of the district, Yogi assured that the “double engine government” will continue to support Mau with funds for development projects.
