We live in a world where the line between religion and spirituality seems thin. Sometimes, the deeper essence of inner change also gets lost in translation. We tried to get a better perspective and thus, we came in contact with spiritual leader Kamlesh D. Patel. Affectionately called Daaji, his insights drew a clear line between merely believing and actually experiencing the divine.

What separates spirituality from religion?

“Believing in God and worshiping God comes under religion. But when after believing, we practice with devotion, experiences start arising. Internal experiences start manifesting within us. What was once external becomes internal,” said Daaji while speaking exclusively to us.He further said, “Earlier, we simply believed. Now, it is not necessary to believe because we have experienced it. Just like when you see something, a foot, a plant, the sun, the stars, you don’t have to ‘believe’ in them because you can see them with your own eyes. In the same way, the experience of the divine tells us that something divine really exists and is always with us. We can experience it whenever we want. That is spirituality, when faith turns into real experience.“

The spiritual leader further explained that spirituality is not where the journey ends; It is the journey itself. Once an experience is gained, it is important to move beyond it. He said, “We must go further. People often feel satisfied after gaining experience; they think, “I have experienced this.” But there is still a gap there. One experience, or even a year of such experiences, is not enough. What comes next is important.”Highlighting this as a very subtle point, he explained with an example. “Imagine you go to live with a friend, maybe a close friend or a cousin, and you spend three or four months with them. You enjoy their hospitality and think, “My friend is wonderful, so kind, so rich.” The experience feels good. But somewhere deep inside you may also feel, ‘It would be nice if I could be like them,'” he said.“In the same way, we can experience divinity, but true peace is not found until we become divine ourselves. After the experience, there must arise within the heart a deep inspiration, a kind of restlessness that moves us to change ourselves.” It is not enough to experience divinity; We must become this,” he said.

“And even after being formed, a stage comes when the mind says, “Leave this too.” The person automatically transcends that too. Ultimately, the mind experiences satisfaction, and the journey continues towards emptiness, the void. That is why our scriptures, Vedas and Upanishads say, “Neti, Neti” (not this, not that). That state cannot be described in words, because it is emptiness,” Daaji concluded, as he highlighted the true essence of spirituality.

Most of the coins recovered were minted during the reign of King Berfred of Mercia and are recorded in both Historic England and Worcestershire City Council records, suggesting that they were likely deposited at the height of the Viking threat to the Kingdom of Mercia.

Impact of agricultural activity on hoarding

King Burgred of Mercia ruled from 852 AD to 874 AD. They faced ongoing warfare and conflict with the ‘Great Heathen Army’, which invaded England in 865 AD and continued to occupy large parts of England until 878 AD. The geographical location of the burial (circa AD 871–874 AD) coincides with the movement of Viking armies throughout the Midlands. The pattern of recovery of the coins suggests that the treasure may have been hidden in a layer of topsoil, before later agricultural activity caused the original, shallow context of the coins to be disturbed and mixed with the deeper topsoil.

Were the coins originally wrapped?

Both professional archaeologists and amateur metal-detector enthusiasts worked together to carry out this excavation. After the first report, a geophysical survey was conducted and then the team conducted targeted excavations. While the team found no structural evidence, 35 small pieces of lead sheet were found around the coins. Experts are investigating whether they are connected to the Bickmarsh Hoard, as some historical hoards were wrapped in lead.

संवाद कार्यक्रम में आईआईटी रूड़की के प्रोफेसर एएस मौर्य ने किसानों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि खेतों में हरी खाद और गोबर के प्रयोग से मिट्टी में कार्बन की मात्रा को बढ़ाया जा सकता है. मिट्टी में कार्बन की मात्रा बढ़ाने से न केवल मिट्टी की उर्वरता में सुधार होता है, बल्कि किसानों को कार्बन क्रेडिट के रूप में अतिरिक्त आर्थिक लाभ भी मिल सकता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि बढ़े हुए कार्बन स्तर प्रमाणित होने के बाद कार्बन क्रेडिट को निजी कंपनियों के माध्यम से बाजार में बेचा जा सकता है, जिससे किसानों को घर बैठे अतिरिक्त आय का अवसर मिलेगा।

जैविक एवं प्राकृतिक खेती के माध्यम से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजार तक पहुंच की संभावना

उप कृषि निदेशक प्रमोद सिरोही ने किसानों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि स्वस्थ समाज की जिम्मेदारी काफी हद तक किसानों के कंधों पर निर्भर करती है। यदि किसान प्राकृतिक एवं जैविक खेती अपनाएं तो उनके उत्पादों को न केवल राष्ट्रीय बल्कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में भी बेहतर दाम मिल सकते हैं।

उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि कार्बन क्रेडिट योजना किसानों के लिए आय का एक अतिरिक्त स्रोत बनकर उभर रही है, जिससे खेती अधिक लाभदायक हो रही है।

कार्बन क्रेडिट योजना से खेती को नई दिशा मिल रही है

कार्यक्रम के दौरान किसानों को बताया गया कि कार्बन क्रेडिट आधारित कृषि प्रणाली पर्यावरण संरक्षण के साथ-साथ आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण का भी प्रभावी माध्यम बन सकती है। यह योजना उन किसानों के लिए विशेष रूप से फायदेमंद मानी जा रही है जो पारंपरिक खेती के साथ-साथ प्राकृतिक खेती की ओर बढ़ रहे हैं।

विशेषज्ञों ने कहा कि मिट्टी की गुणवत्ता में सुधार के साथ-साथ जल संरक्षण और जैव विविधता को बढ़ावा देने में भी इस योजना की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है।

संवाद कार्यक्रम के दौरान किसानों को कृषि विभाग की अन्य योजनाओं की भी जानकारी दी गयी. अधिकारियों ने कहा कि खरीफ फसलों के बीज के लिए बुकिंग प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है और किसान समय रहते अपनी बुकिंग सुनिश्चित कर लें ताकि उन्हें गुणवत्तापूर्ण बीज उपलब्ध हो सकें.

इस पहल का उद्देश्य किसानों को बेहतर उत्पादन और उच्च आय के लिए प्रेरित करना है।

केवीके बघरा विशेषज्ञों ने भी उपयोगी सुझाव साझा किये

कार्यक्रम में केवीके बघरा के अध्यक्ष डॉ. हंसराज एवं डॉ. वीरेंद्र कुमार ने भी किसानों को आधुनिक कृषि तकनीक, जैविक उर्वरकों के उपयोग एवं टिकाऊ खेती के महत्व पर विस्तृत जानकारी दी।

विशेषज्ञों ने किसानों से नई योजनाओं का लाभ उठाने और अपनी खेती को अधिक लाभदायक और पर्यावरण अनुकूल बनाने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ने की अपील की।

नसीरपुर में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में किसानों ने भाग लिया और कार्बन क्रेडिट योजना से संबंधित विभिन्न जानकारी प्राप्त की। किसानों ने इस योजना को आय बढ़ाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण पहल बताते हुए इसे व्यवहारिक रूप से अपनाने में रुचि दिखाई।

ऐसे कार्यक्रमों को ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में जागरूकता बढ़ाने और किसानों को आधुनिक कृषि पद्धतियों से जोड़ने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम माना जा रहा है।
