राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व के मुख्यतः दो भाग हैं, पूर्वी और पश्चिमी। पूर्वी भाग में बाघों की तुलनात्मक रूप से अच्छी संख्या है, जबकि पश्चिमी भाग में बाघ कम हैं। ऐसे में कॉर्बेट टाइगर रिजर्व से बाघों को लाकर यहां छोड़ा गया है. राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व के पश्चिमी हिस्से में वन्यजीव संरक्षण के लिए काम करने वाले एक एनजीओ ने साल 2025 में एक अध्ययन किया है.

मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक इस अध्ययन से पता चला है कि सिर्फ पश्चिमी हिस्से में ही 200 से ज्यादा गुलदार हैं. घनत्व के लिहाज से यह गुलदारों की अच्छी संख्या है। वन विभाग के अनुसार क्षेत्र में बाघों की संख्या कम होने के कारण गुलदारों की संख्या अधिक है। इसके अलावा पश्चिमी भाग में गुलदार को खाने वाले हिरण आदि की संख्या भी अधिक है। बेहतर आवास के कारण तेंदुओं की संख्या में वृद्धि हुई।

गुलदार साफ दिख रहे थे, इसलिए अध्ययन किया गया

वन विभाग के अनुसार गुलदार बड़ी संख्या में दिखाई दे रहे हैं। इसलिए पढ़ाई करने का निर्णय लिया गया. इसके अलावा आवास की योजना और सुरक्षा प्रबंधन भी शामिल था। इस संबंध में अपर मुख्य वन संरक्षक वन्य जीव एवं सूचना विवेक पांडे ने बताया कि अध्ययन में पश्चिमी हिस्से में तेंदुओं की संख्या का पता चला है, अब संबंधित संस्था पूर्वी हिस्से में भी अध्ययन कराएगी. इसके बाद पूरे राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व में बाघों की संख्या का पता चल सकेगा।

New controversy has arisen due to illegal telecast of ‘Jana Nayakan’

On 11 April, the film ‘Jana Nayakan’ was reportedly telecast on a local cable TV channel in parts of Coimbatore district. According to Nakkheeran, the illegal broadcasting took place in Karumathampatti and surrounding areas. This development surprised many of Vijay’s fans, as the film is yet to receive a proper theatrical release. Many viewers in the area watched the broadcast and informed local supporters of Vijay. Soon after, TVK District Administrator Mohanpriya lodged a complaint at the Karumathampatti police station, demanding strict action against those responsible for screening the unreleased film on cable television.

Cable operator arrested and equipment confiscated

The police went to the complainant’s location and found the cable operator who had shown the film illegally. Police also arrested Palanisamy, who was accused of illegal telecast of the film ‘Jana Nayakan’. The accused was produced in the court and sent to judicial custody. Additionally, police seized the cable operator as well as all items used in the broadcast, such as a computer and five hard disks. Sealing the Cable House office was also part of the investigation. Authorities believe the seized equipment could help trace the source of the pirated copy and reveal how the film reached the cable network.

Censor issues and release delays added to the film’s troubles.
