Mohanlal Starrer ‘Drishyam’ has been approved by the Central Board film certification (CBFC) with a U/A 13+ certificate ahead of its theatrical release on May 21.Mohanlal shared the announcement of the film’s certification on his Instagram handle on Thursday. In theaters worldwide from May 21, 2026.”The much-awaited teaser of ‘Drishyam 3’ was recently released by the makers, teasing the audience with an in-depth narrative about Mohanlal’s past choices amidst his fear of being watched by Georgekutty.The one minute 50 second teaser opens with a voiceover of Mohanlal as he talks about living a simple life with his family, when “an unwanted guest invades the family, who has the power to destroy them.”As the teaser unfolds, Georgekutty thinks about the challenges in his life and accepts his actions to protect his family.With the underlying fear of being watched, the teaser suggests big plans afoot. It also shows glimpses of Georgekutty’s family members, including his wife and daughters.The shooting of the film started in September 2025.
