Lizalz, who suddenly found herself trending online, later reacted to the situation. Speaking to Hindustan Times, she said: “It was crazy because I woke up and then I was all over the news.” She also explained how she found out about it: “I don’t even know when they liked the photo, I found out through the news. A lot of people found the articles they did on me on a lot of different platforms and sent them in my DMs. I got a lot of messages today, people were very excited about it.“When asked about Kohli’s alleged unliking of the post later, she said: “Actually I felt a little sorry for him!” She added, “I was very happy that she liked it, but then she disliked it, so I felt a little bad for her because I don’t even know how it became such a big story. How people noticed, how they made it news… Maybe that wasn’t her intention behind it, but still I’m grateful for it and appreciate her support.”Lizlaz also revealed that she is a fan of Kohli. “I started traveling all over South India, Goa, Mysore, even Coorg, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and then later in the North. And this travel was when I got introduced to cricket as a game. I had not seen it before or anything. I was born in South Africa but grew up in Germany, where the national game is football,” she said.“Obviously it was the IPL last year, so I started watching with my Bangalore friends. It was contagious. I was also growing up a Royal Challengers Bangalore fan. And obviously, if you support RCB, Virat Kohli is the most exciting player to watch. He’s very good. So I was happy that he liked the picture.”This is not the first time that Kohli has been in the news for such incidents.
