Tvisha Sharma death case: Bail of mother-in-law Giribala Singh cancelled, possible dismissal from consumer panel post
The anticipatory bail of mother-in-law Giribala Singh in the Twisha Sharma dowry murder case is likely to be cancelled.

Bhopal: Former district judge Giribala Singh, mother-in-law of 33-year-old Tvisha Sharma, who allegedly committed suicide at her Bhopal home earlier this month, now faces the possibility of cancellation of her anticipatory bail as well as a review of her position as chairperson of the Bhopal District Consumer Commission.Police on Thursday issued a “third and final notice” to Giribala Singh asking him to record his statement in connection with the case. The investigators indicated that if she continues to refrain from cooperating in the investigation, they may approach the court to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to her earlier by the Bhopal sessions court. At the same time, the Madhya Pradesh government has reportedly sought clarification from the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission whether the person under investigation in such a case can continue to be the head of the District Consumer Panel. The matter has also reached the Madhya Pradesh High Court, where several petitions related to alleged dowry deaths are expected to come up before a vacation bench on Friday.Twisha’s husband Samarth Singh, who is still absconding, has moved the Jabalpur bench of the high court for anticipatory bail after his previous plea was rejected by the sessions court. Meanwhile, Tvisha’s father Navnidhi Sharma has filed a petition demanding cancellation of the anticipatory bail granted to Giribala Singh. Also read: ‘2 days, 2 hours and 20 minutes’: Tvisha Sharma’s mother-in-law claims discrepancy in DVR content, WhatsApp texts were tampered withPolice Commissioner Sanjay Kumar said the notices issued earlier to Giribala Singh could not be served personally as she was not present at her Katara Hills residence – the same house where Twisha was found hanging on May 12. The third notice also could not be given personally and was ultimately sent through WhatsApp.Under the provisions of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS), women, senior citizens, children below 15 years of age and persons with disabilities cannot generally be called to police stations for questioning, with investigators required to record their statements at home or at a mutually agreed upon location.Defense lawyer Mrigendra Singh argued that Tvisha never made any allegations against her husband or mother-in-law before her death and did not leave any suicide note. He accused the dead woman’s family of “spreading lies” after the incident.Meanwhile, Giribala Singh has also approached a magistrate court alleging lapses in handling electronic evidence seized during the investigation. In an application filed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class court, he claimed that the police failed to properly record the contents of the seized DVR linked to the CCTV cameras installed at his residence. The plea said that the CCTV system has not been regularly serviced by the private firm that maintains it, which has led to the alleged discrepancy in the timestamps showing a difference of two days, two hours and 20 minutes. Singh argued that this has created confusion in the public discussion over the case and requested the court to direct the SIT to formally document the contents of the DVR in the presence of independent witnesses. He further sought directions to preserve the electronic devices belonging to Twisha’s relatives, alleging that the doctored WhatsApp chats were being circulated to influence public perception. Also read: Twisha Sharma death case: Both sides reach court for preservation and investigation of electronic evidenceNoida resident and former model turned actor Twisha Sharma was found dead in her marital home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area on May 12. The authorities have also announced a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Samarth Singh and have approached the court demanding cancellation of his passport.

Who is Mohammed Omar, the $90 million fraud suspect in Minnesota who jumped from the balcony to escape FBI arrest?

Who is Mohammed Omar, the $90 million fraud suspect in Minnesota who jumped from the balcony to escape FBI arrest?
One of 15 people charged in a $90 million health care fraud in Minnesota fled on foot when FBI agents went to arrest him.

A man jumped from a fourth-floor balcony when FBI agents went to his home to arrest him Thursday in connection with a $90 million fraud in Minnesota. Immediately, the agency addressed a press conference, released dramatic footage of an accused running away on foot holding a shoe in his hand and sought public tips to catch him.Colin McDonald, Assistant Attorney General for the National Fraud Enforcement Division, said, “I would encourage the public to help this individual face justice for the fraud he committed. And now, to face additional charges for attempting to flee law enforcement and obstructing justice based on his conduct today.”

Who is it Mohammad Omar?

Mohammed Omar has been charged with conspiracy to commit health care fraud and four counts of health care fraud.Prosecutors say they worked with another man, Ibrahim Bashir Abdi, to create North Home Health Care, and Omar opened another company called South Home Health Care. The companies were registered with Minnesota’s Housing Stabilization Program.Officials say these people will manipulate and inflate the number of service hours provided by North Home. Officials say some of the patients they were supposedly caring for were actually hospitalized and others were dead. Omar and Abdi made $3.2 million based on those false claims. Omar received an additional $480,000 through claims from South Home. The allegations say that these people also sent some money abroad to buy property in Kenya. These 15 people used disabled people as lottery tickets to earn millions of dollars and with that money they bought luxury vehicles and spent money on expensive jewelry.“This was the cost of the early intervention development program in 2020. It was $38.1 million. This is what we expected to pay every year,” Secretary Kennedy explained. “Instead, this year it reached $442 million. … [That’s] “The magnitude and damage of fraud is what we’re talking about today.”“It got so out of control that it caused panic,” Dr. Oz said. “It was at that point we restarted the process and realized that here were programs created with massive spending that had grown so rapidly that there was no way to save the program.”

GT continues to dominate ahead of playoffsUnder the brilliant leadership of captain Shubman Gill, GT once again showed why they have emerged as one of the strongest teams of IPL 2026.After being put in to bat first by Ruturaj Gaikwad, their top order completely demolished the CSK bowling attack.Gill scored 64 runs in 37 balls with the help of seven fours and three sixes, while Sai Sudarshan continued his sensational season by scoring 84 runs in 53 balls. The pair added 125 runs for the opening wicket and reached 100 runs within 10 overs. After Gill’s dismissal, Jos Buttler took complete control of the innings by scoring unbeaten 57 runs on 27 balls. “She’s going to go to jail again”: Asmongold hits back after Nina Lynn accuses him of spending a night in jail for $4 worth of scissors

"she's going to jail again": Asmongold hits back after Nina Lynn accuses him of spending night in jail for $4 scissors
When Nina Lynn blamed him and his audience for a situation that left him spending a night in jail because of an allegedly unscanned $4 pair of scissors, Asmongold reacted harshly. During a livestream, Nina suggested that one of Asmagold’s viewers report him to the police. Asmongold mocked her claims, calling the incident “stupid” and predicting that she would “end up in jail again”, leading to a viral controversy on Twitch and social media platforms.

A fresh online clash between Asmongold and controversial content creator Nina Lynn spilled over onto social media this week, after Nina blamed the Twitch streamer for a bizarre incident that reportedly ended with her spending the night in jail. The drama quickly gained momentum online after a clip of Nina’s livestream aired on X, bringing viewers into another chaotic chapter of the internet creator feud.According to Nina Lin, the incident began when she allegedly failed to scan a $4 pair of scissors at the self-checkout counter. She claimed the mistake was accidental, but the situation escalated after a store employee allegedly involved the police. During her stream, she unexpectedly linked the situation to Asmagold, and accused one of her viewers of targeting her.

Asmagold reacts after Nina Lynn blames him for prison incident

Explaining what happened to her viewers, Nina Lynn described the moment she realized the scissors had not been properly scanned.“I’m using the little red barcode scanner. But apparently I missed one… I’ve never been so shocked in my life. I said, ‘Are you serious? Are you sure?’ I’m saying to the officer: ‘You’re seeing what I’m seeing, right?’ And he says: ‘It was an honest mistake… but the guy wants you on the premises.'”He then placed all the blame on Osamagold’s community, saying, “Maybe he looks at Osamagold…he’s too close to a terrorist, that guy. That old white guy, whatever.”Comments during one of his livestreams immediately reached Asmongold, and the veteran Twitch personality didn’t hold back in responding.“OsamaGold?! I mean, my beard is growing big enough, but is it this bad now? Jesus! My man! If this guy sees me, we have to VIP him in chat. You packed it… up. Sexual harassment extraordinary. Crash out queen. 638 sub. On the side of the road, slander about something that happened six months ago; You still remember it. But we know it wasn’t an honest mistake; You are a complete idiot.”

Asmongold predicts more trouble for Nina Lynn

The situation escalated further when Asmongold claimed that this would not be the last controversy involving Nina Lynn. During the same stream, he predicted that continuing to criticize her publicly could get her into trouble again.“Got it… and it’s going to get worse. She’s going to be put in jail again, and when she’s put in jail, I’m going to make another video about it. It’s going to happen again. And so, like, it’s the middle of the story; it’s not the end of the story. It’s the middle of the story. So, keep that in mind, and you’ll keep farming; laughing at you. I’ll keep farming hating you, and that’s because you’re a loser. Are persons...and you are absolutely a terrible person. So far, Nina Lynn has not publicly responded to Asmongold’s latest comments. Still, the exchange has already spread widely across the Twitch, Kik, and X communities, with viewers heavily divided on how far both streamers took the argument.
