इस बीच मुख्य आरोपी सरस गुप्ता मौके से फरार हो गया. व्यापारियों ने कुल सात लोगों को पकड़कर पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया। पूछताछ के बाद पुलिस ने कुछ लोगों को छोड़ दिया और सरस गुप्ता समेत चार लोगों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया. पुलिस ने उसके चाचा और दो बाउंसरों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया है।
