रायबरेली समाचार: उत्तर प्रदेश के रायबरेली जिले से एक चौंकाने वाला मामला सामने आया है। यहां एक युवक की गिरफ्तारी के बाद गुस्साई लड़की मोबाइल टावर पर चढ़ गई और कूदने की धमकी देने लगी. घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही मौके पर भारी भीड़ जमा हो गयी. लोगों ने तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी. जब पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची तो हालात देखकर वह भी हैरान रह गई. लड़की टावर पर बैठी रही और नीचे आने से इनकार कर दिया, जिससे पूरे इलाके में दहशत फैल गई.

युवक की गिरफ्तारी से भड़की युवती
जानकारी के मुताबिक, यह मामला गुरुबक्शगंज थाना क्षेत्र के एक गांव का है. गांव के लोगों ने बताया कि युवती का इलाके के ही एक युवक से प्रेम प्रसंग चल रहा था. लड़की का परिवार इस रिश्ते से खुश नहीं था. उसने युवक के खिलाफ लड़की को बहला-फुसलाकर ले जाने और उसका यौन शोषण करने का आरोप लगाते हुए मुकदमा दर्ज कराया। शिकायत के बाद पुलिस ने युवक को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया.

टावर पर चढ़कर आत्महत्या करने की धमकी दी
जैसे ही लड़की को अपने प्रेमी की गिरफ्तारी की जानकारी मिली तो वह गुस्से में आ गई. वह किसी तरह घर से निकली और गांव के बाहर लगे मोबाइल टावर पर चढ़ गई। टावर पर पहुंचकर उसने कूदकर आत्महत्या करने की धमकी दी। परिजन और गांव वाले उसे समझाने की कोशिश करते रहे, लेकिन लड़की ने साफ कह दिया कि पहले उसके प्रेमी को जेल से रिहा किया जाए, तभी वह नीचे आएगी.

स्थिति पुलिस के लिए चुनौती बन गयी है
मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने लड़की को समझाने की काफी कोशिश की, लेकिन वह किसी की बात सुनने को तैयार नहीं थी. वह काफी देर तक टावर पर ही बैठी रही. पुलिस का कहना है कि स्थिति पर लगातार नजर रखी जा रही है और लड़की को सुरक्षित नीचे लाने की हर संभव कोशिश की जा रही है. यह घटना पूरे इलाके में चर्चा का विषय बनी हुई है.

A three-time veteran MLA with a colorful political journey, Borgohain brings to the table the most formidable electoral track record.Borgohain first won the Thowra seat as a Congress candidate in 2011, defeating sitting independent MLA Kushal Dowari by 4,286 votes. In 2021, he won the seat again under the Congress banner, this time defeating Dowari, who was contesting as a BJP candidate, by a slim margin of 2,006 votes. Borgohain defected to the BJP soon after that victory, leading to a by-election. After this, he won the by-election by defeating Raijor Dal’s Dhaijya Konwar by a huge margin of 30,561 votes.Borgohain acknowledged the constituency’s serious civic challenges, saying, “The people of this constituency have supported me in every contest and every chapter of my political career. In Demos, I am carrying forward that faith with a commitment to development, better roads and stronger infrastructure.”His main rival, Congress’s 53-year-old Ajoy Kumar Gogoi, has a markedly different profile – a first-time politically elected candidate with strong academic credentials. Former head of the political science department at Moran Women’s School, Gogoi built a reputation as an excellent debater since her college and university days. While these skills may serve him well on the campaign trail, political observers say his lack of electoral experience at the grassroots level is a significant disadvantage against the three-time MLA.The third candidate, CPI’s Ajoy Bora, 44, adds a Left dimension to the contest, although the constituency is expected to be largely a bipolar battle, testing the party’s organizational strength.At the grassroots level, residents of the demo are vocal about their priorities.
