Pakistani cricketers did not find any buyers in the Hundred Women 2026 auction
No Pakistani player found a taker in the women’s auction for The Hundred held on Wednesday, March 11. Left-handed batsman Muniba Ali, right-arm fast bowler Diana Baig, left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal and Pakistan captain Fatima Sana had registered for the auction with a base price of £15,000.
However, in the women’s T20I, only top-order bowlers Fatima Sana and Sadia Iqbal were shortlisted for the final auction phase. Despite making the shortlist, none of their names were called during the bidding process. As a result, all four Pakistani players remained unsold and missed out on contracts for the upcoming season of the 100-ball tournament.

In response, the ECB and The Hundred franchise Clarified that nationality will not affect the selectionEmphasizing options will be based solely on performance, availability and team requirements.
