उत्तर प्रदेश के कौशांबी जिले से एक बेहद दर्दनाक और चौंकाने वाली घटना सामने आई है। पश्चिम शरीरा थाना क्षेत्र के ताहेरा रोड के पास एक युवक और युवती ने कथित तौर पर डंपर के सामने कूदकर आत्महत्या कर ली. इस घटना के बाद पूरे इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई और लोग सन्न रह गए. आस-पास मौजूद लोगों ने जब यह नजारा देखा तो तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी. पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर दोनों के शवों को कब्जे में ले लिया और आगे की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी. इस घटना से स्थानीय लोग सदमे में हैं.

मुजफ्फरनगर जिले के खतौली क्षेत्र में एनडीपीएस एक्ट में वांछित एक आरोपी को पुलिस हिरासत से छुड़ाने के मामले में खतौली थाना पुलिस ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए तीन आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है. इस कार्रवाई को मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी से जुड़े मामलों में पुलिस के खिलाफ संगठित बाधा के रूप में देखा जा रहा है.
पुलिस के मुताबिक गिरफ्तार आरोपी ने छापेमारी के दौरान पुलिस टीम के साथ बल प्रयोग और अभद्रता कर वांछित आरोपी विनोद मेंबर को छुड़ा लिया था, जिसके बाद उसके खिलाफ अलग से मामला दर्ज कर कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी गई है.
26 फरवरी को गांजा तस्करी मामले में एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत केस दर्ज किया गया था.
जानकारी के मुताबिक खतौली थाना पुलिस ने 26 फरवरी को तीन अवैध मादक पदार्थ तस्करों को गिरफ्तार किया था. उनके कब्जे से गांजा और एक मोटरसाइकिल बरामद की गई। इस मामले में खतौली थाने पर धारा 8/20/29 एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया था.
इसी मामले में खतौली कस्बे के मौहल्ला देवीदास निवासी विनोद मेम्बर पुत्र ओमप्रकाश वांछित चल रहा था, जिसकी गिरफ्तारी के लिए पुलिस लगातार प्रयास कर रही थी।
छापेमारी के दौरान आरोपी को पुलिस हिरासत से छुड़ा लिया गया.
पुलिस टीम ने मोहल्ला देवीदास स्थित आरोपी के घर पहुंचकर उसे पुलिस हिरासत में ले लिया तो आरोपी ने शोर मचाया तो उसके परिजन व साथी मौके पर एकत्र हो गए।
इस दौरान आरोपियों ने पुलिस टीम के साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया और बल प्रयोग कर विनोद सदस्य को पुलिस हिरासत से छुड़ा लिया. इस घटना के बाद पुलिस ने मामले को गंभीरता से लिया और अलग से मामला दर्ज किया.
घटना के बाद एक विशेष टीम का गठन कर तलाश शुरू की गयी.
आरोपी को पुलिस हिरासत से छुड़ाने की घटना के बाद खतौली थाने में धारा 132, 262, 263, 224, 221 बीएनएस और 7 सीएलए एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया था. इसके बाद आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए विशेष पुलिस टीमों का गठन किया गया.
गठित टीमों ने लगातार छापेमारी कर इस मामले में शामिल तीन आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया.
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की पहचान, अन्य फरार आरोपियों की तलाश जारी है
पुलिस द्वारा गिरफ्तार किये गये आरोपियों की पहचान मुहल्ला देवीदास निवासी सुंदर पुत्र ओमप्रकाश, आलू मिल चांदबाग मस्जिद क्षेत्र निवासी सोनू पुत्र अल्लारखां और मुहल्ला देवीदास निवासी उपेन्द्र पुत्र टीटू के रूप में हुई है।
पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि मामले में शामिल अन्य आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं और जल्द ही उन्हें भी हिरासत में ले लिया जाएगा.
वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के निर्देशन में कार्रवाई चल रही है
यह पूरी कार्रवाई अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक, मेरठ जोन और पुलिस उपमहानिरीक्षक, सहारनपुर जोन के निर्देशन और वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक संजय कुमार वर्मा के पर्यवेक्षण में की गई. अभियान का नेतृत्व नगर पुलिस अधीक्षक अमृत जैन, सहायक पुलिस अधीक्षक एवं क्षेत्राधिकारी खतौली रामाशीष यादव एवं थाना प्रभारी दिनेश सिंह ने किया.
पुलिस अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि पुलिस कार्यवाही में बाधा डालने और आरोपियों को भगाने जैसी घटनाओं को गंभीर अपराध माना जाएगा और इसमें शामिल किसी भी व्यक्ति को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।
गिरफ्तारी करने वाली पुलिस टीम ने सक्रिय भूमिका निभायी
इस कार्रवाई में इंस्पेक्टर नरेश सिंह, वरिष्ठ उपनिरीक्षक राजकुमार बालियान और उपनिरीक्षक अनिल तोमर समेत खतौली पुलिस टीम की अहम भूमिका रही. टीम की सतर्कता एवं त्वरित कार्यवाही से आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया जा सका।
पुलिस का कहना है कि फरार मुख्य आरोपी विनोद मेंबर की तलाश भी तेज कर दी गई है.

चारधाम यात्रा को देखते हुए परिवहन विभाग ने वाहनों की जांच और व्यवस्था के अलावा नई पहल भी की है। इसमें पहली बार बायो टॉयलेट की तरह वाटरलेस यूरिनल लगाया जाएगा। इससे कोई गंध या गंदगी नहीं होगी. इसके अलावा यात्रियों को एक ट्रैवल किट भी दी जाएगी, जिसमें उल्टी बैग से लेकर सैनिटाइजर तक पांच उपयोगी चीजें होंगी।
उप परिवहन आयुक्त शैलेश तिवारी ने बताया कि पहली बार यात्रा मार्ग पर जल रहित यूरिनल लगाने की व्यवस्था की गई है. फिलहाल सात का ऑर्डर दिया गया है. यह लगभग ट्रेनों में लगे बायोटॉयलेट की तरह है, जिसमें पेशाब से पानी और यूरिया अलग कर दिया जाता है. इससे बदबू और गंदगी नहीं होती.
इसके अलावा ट्रैवल किट में उल्टी बैग, यूरिनल बैग, सैनिटाइजर, वेट वाइप्स और कूड़ा रखने के लिए एक छोटा बैग होगा। इसे वाहनों में मौजूद यात्रियों की संख्या को देखते हुए चेक पोस्ट के माध्यम से एक निश्चित संख्या में उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। यह व्यवस्था पहली बार की गयी है.
नारसन चेक पोस्ट पर यात्रियों के लिए प्रतीक्षालय बनाया जाएगा
परिवहन विभाग ने यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए नारसन चेक पोस्ट पर प्रतीक्षालय बनाने का निर्णय लिया है। यहां ग्रीन कार्ड बनाने की भी सुविधा होगी. ऐसे में अगर काम में समय लगेगा तो यात्री वेटिंग रूम में इंतजार कर सकेंगे। यहां कूलर से लेकर इंटरनेट, एलईडी की सुविधा भी दी जाएगी। परिवहन अधिकारियों के मुताबिक यात्रियों की यात्रा के लिए वाहनों की भी व्यवस्था की गई है.

परिवहन विभाग ने देहरादून जिले में पांच और सोनप्रयाग में एक चेकपोस्ट बनाई है। परिवहन विभाग की सामान्य चेकिंग टीमों के अलावा मोबाइल टीमों को भी तैनात करने का निर्णय लिया गया है. चारधाम यात्रा मार्ग पर नौ मोबाइल टीमें तैनात की जाएंगी।
