Hyderabad: Sitting Andhra Pradesh TDP MP Putta Mahesh Kumar tested positive for banned substance methamphetamine (meth) in a blood test on Sunday, after investigators allege he attempted to evade drug screening during a raid at a farmhouse party by the Hyderabad police last night, reports Srinath Woodali. The Eluru MP’s test result took the number of high-profile guests who failed drug test at the Moinabad property owned by former BRS Tandoor MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy to six out of 11. Delhi-based businessman Namith Sharma, whose urine samples were found to contain traces of cocaine during Saturday’s raid, has also been charged with attempt to murder and assault.Fake drug test done in water sample during farmhouse blast in MPRohit’s brother Ritesh Reddy Pajugula has been booked under sections 109 and 131 of the BNS for firing at the police with his .32 revolver. Apart from Rohit and MP Mahesh Kumar, those accused of drug abuse include Ritesh, Namith, businessman Thiruvidula Arjun Reddy and lawyer Kaushik Ravi. Moinabad DCP Yogesh Gautam said, “All 11 people from the farmhouse party have been accused of violating the Telangana Prohibition Act. We have invoked the NDPS Act against six people who have tested positive (for meth or cocaine). Three of them – Namith, Rohit and Ritesh – are also accused of violating the Arms Act.” Rohit, Namith and Ritesh have been arrested while Mahesh Kumar and the other two guests have got bail. Police recovered about two grams of white substance. They suspect that a part of the medicines was flushed out. उन्होंने बताया कि सती का चरित्र मनुष्य को सिखाता है कि जीवन में स्वाभिमान और मर्यादा कितनी महत्वपूर्ण है। धर्म और सत्य के मार्ग पर चलने वाला व्यक्ति कभी भी अन्याय के सामने नहीं झुकता।

उन्होंने बताया कि भगवान सदैव अपने भक्तों के साथ रहते हैं और जब भी धर्म पर संकट आता है तो वे किसी न किसी रूप में प्रकट होकर अधर्म का अंत करते हैं।

यह घटना भक्तों के लिए अत्यंत प्रेरणादायक थी और पूरे कथा स्थल पर “नृसिंह भगवान की जय” के नारे गूंज उठे।

निलंबित आईएएस अधिकारी अभिषेक प्रकाश को बड़ी राहत मिली है. राज्यपाल ने उन्हें सेवा में बहाल करने का आदेश जारी कर दिया है. आदेश के मुताबिक अभिषेक प्रकाश 15 मार्च से अपनी सेवा में बहाल हो जायेंगे. हालांकि, उनके खिलाफ चल रही विभागीय जांच जारी रहेगी. जांच प्रक्रिया के दौरान सबूत जुटाने का काम जारी रहेगा. इस फैसले के बाद प्रशासनिक और राजनीतिक हलकों में इस मामले की खूब चर्चा हो रही है.

सोलर कंपनी से रिश्वत मांगने का आरोप था
अभिषेक प्रकाश पर एक सोलर कंपनी से प्रोजेक्ट को मंजूरी देने के बदले रिश्वत मांगने का आरोप था. शिकायत मिलने के बाद 20 मार्च 2025 को उन्हें सस्पेंड कर दिया गया. यह शिकायत SAEL सोलर P6 प्राइवेट लिमिटेड नाम की कंपनी ने की थी. कंपनी ने इस मामले की शिकायत सीधे उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ से की थी. इसके बाद मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देश पर अभिषेक प्रकाश को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित कर दिया गया और उनके खिलाफ जांच शुरू कर दी गयी.

हाई कोर्ट से राहत
हाल ही में इस मामले में इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट की लखनऊ बेंच ने बड़ा फैसला सुनाया. कोर्ट ने सबूतों के अभाव में अभिषेक प्रकाश के खिलाफ दायर आरोप पत्र को रद्द कर दिया. कोर्ट के फैसले के बाद विभागीय स्तर पर उनकी बहाली की प्रक्रिया शुरू की गयी और अब राज्यपाल की मंजूरी के बाद उन्हें सेवा में बहाल कर दिया गया है.

बिचौलिए के माध्यम से कमीशन मांगने का आरोप
जांच के दौरान आरोप लगा कि अभिषेक प्रकाश ने एक बिचौलिए के जरिए कंपनी से 5 फीसदी कमीशन मांगा था. इसी आरोप के आधार पर उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की गई. अभिषेक प्रकाश का जन्म 1982 में हुआ था और वह मूल रूप से बिहार के रहने वाले हैं। उन्होंने आईआईटी रूड़की से इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई की है. प्रशासनिक सेवा में रहते हुए उन्होंने कई जिलों में जिलाधिकारी के पद पर भी काम किया है.

कई जिलों में जिलाधिकारी रहे हैं
आईएएस अभिषेक प्रकाश लखनऊ, लखीमपुर खीरी, अलीगढ़ और हमीरपुर जैसे जिलों में जिलाधिकारी रह चुके हैं। लखनऊ में जिला मजिस्ट्रेट के रूप में उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान सरोजिनी नगर में रक्षा गलियारा परियोजना के लिए भूमि भी अधिग्रहित की गई थी।

कोर्ट ने क्या कहा
सुनवाई के दौरान कोर्ट ने कहा कि मामले में किसी भी तरह के पैसे के लेन-देन का कोई सबूत सामने नहीं आया है. न तो किसी तरह की संपत्ति या कीमती सामान दिए जाने का सबूत था और न ही किसी को धमकी देने का कोई सबूत था. इसके अलावा जांच के दौरान एक करोड़ रुपये की कथित नकदी भी बरामद नहीं हुई. कोर्ट ने कहा कि ऐसा कोई सबूत नहीं मिला जिससे साबित हो कि किसी लोक सेवक को अनुचित लाभ की पेशकश की गई हो. इन्हीं कारणों के आधार पर कोर्ट ने चार्जशीट रद्द कर दी और अभिषेक प्रकाश को राहत दे दी. हालांकि, उनके खिलाफ विभागीय जांच अभी भी जारी रहेगी.

A group of youths attacked a girl at Cabot Circus, leaving her requiring hospital treatment. The attack was filmed. The girl’s father said that she is so shocked by this incident that she has not gone to school. He also described the video that was shot when his daughter was attacked.The girl’s father, who we’re calling Phil to protect the family’s identity, told the BBC he felt “disappointed” that witnesses did not intervene.“He was seen walking around Cabot with, you know, 25 people chasing him,” Phil said.“They were chasing him for 25 minutes…Nobody wanted to help. Nobody wanted to say are you safe?”A video of the attack has circulated widely on social media, and is believed to be linked to a recent trend encouraging students to fight each other.

मुजफ्फरनगर उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस सब इंस्पेक्टर भर्ती परीक्षा को शांतिपूर्ण, निष्पक्ष एवं पारदर्शी तरीके से संपन्न कराने के लिए प्रशासन एवं पुलिस विभाग पूरी तरह से सक्रिय नजर आया. जिले में परीक्षा के दूसरे दिन सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और मजबूत की गयी. इसी क्रम में पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर सत्यनारायण प्रजापत विभिन्न परीक्षा केंद्रों का दौरा कर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का जायजा लिया और ड्यूटी पर तैनात पुलिसकर्मियों को आवश्यक निर्देश दिये.

मुजफ्फरनगर जिले में आयोजित इस महत्वपूर्ण भर्ती परीक्षा के लिए प्रशासन द्वारा व्यापक सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की गई है. परीक्षा के दूसरे दिन दो पालियों में परीक्षा आयोजित की गई, जिसमें जिले के अभ्यर्थी शामिल हुए कुल 17 परीक्षा केंद्र लेकिन बड़ी संख्या में अभ्यर्थी उपस्थित हुए. परीक्षा के दौरान व्यवस्था सुचारू रखने और किसी भी तरह की गड़बड़ी से बचने के लिए पुलिस और प्रशासन ने संयुक्त रूप से निगरानी व्यवस्था मजबूत रखी.

सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का किया गया व्यापक निरीक्षण

पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर सत्यनारायण प्रजापत परीक्षा केंद्रों का दौरा किया और वहां की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की गहन समीक्षा की. वे केन्द्रों में लगे हुए हैं सीसीटीवी कैमरेप्रवेश द्वार पर तैनात सुरक्षा बलों, अभ्यर्थियों की जांच प्रक्रिया और यातायात व्यवस्था का निरीक्षण किया।

निरीक्षण के दौरान उन्होंने यह सुनिश्चित किया कि परीक्षा केंद्रों के अंदर एवं बाहर सभी व्यवस्थाएं व्यवस्थित रूप से संचालित हों तथा अभ्यर्थियों को किसी प्रकार की कोई परेशानी न हो.

इसके साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी देखा कि केंद्रों पर आने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए पेयजल जैसी आवश्यक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं या नहीं. अधिकारियों ने साफ किया कि परीक्षा के दौरान छात्रों की सुविधा और सुरक्षा दोनों का ख्याल रखना प्रशासन की प्राथमिकता है.

अभ्यर्थियों की सुविधा के लिए विशेष इंतजाम

यूपी पुलिस एसआई परीक्षा मुजफ्फरनगर के तहत आयोजित इस परीक्षा में बड़ी संख्या में अभ्यर्थी शामिल हुए थे। परीक्षा देने के लिए कई अभ्यर्थी दूर-दराज के जिलों और ग्रामीण इलाकों से भी आए थे.

इसे ध्यान में रखते हुए प्रशासन ने परीक्षा केंद्रों के आसपास यातायात सुचारू बनाए रखने के लिए विशेष इंतजाम किए हैं. पुलिसकर्मियों को यह सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया गया कि परीक्षा केंद्रों के आसपास अनावश्यक भीड़ जमा नहीं होने दी जाये और अभ्यर्थियों को समय पर केंद्र तक पहुंचने में कोई बाधा नहीं आये.

इसके अलावा पुलिस बल को अभ्यर्थियों के साथ शालीन व्यवहार रखने और उन्हें आवश्यक सूचनाएं उपलब्ध कराते रहने का निर्देश दिया गया.

स्ट्रांग रूम की सुरक्षा की भी समीक्षा की गयी

परीक्षा के संबंध में पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर स्ट्रांग रूम निरीक्षण भी किया। यहां प्रश्नपत्र एवं अन्य महत्वपूर्ण सामग्री सुरक्षित रखी जाती है।

निरीक्षण के दौरान उन्होंने सुरक्षा मानकों की समीक्षा करते हुए अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि स्ट्रांग रूम के आसपास सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पूरी तरह से मजबूत रखी जाये तथा वहां तैनात पुलिस बल पूरी सतर्कता के साथ अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभायें.

परीक्षा प्रक्रिया की गोपनीयता बनाए रखना प्रशासन के लिए बेहद जरूरी माना जा रहा है, इसलिए हर स्तर पर निगरानी रखी जा रही है.

संदिग्ध गतिविधियों पर विशेष नजर

निरीक्षण के दौरान पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर ने अधिकारियों को परीक्षा केंद्रों के आसपास किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि पर कड़ी नजर रखने का भी निर्देश दिया.

उन्होंने कहा कि यदि कोई संदिग्ध व्यक्ति या वाहन दिखे तो तत्काल जांच कर आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जाये.

इसके अलावा यह भी निर्देश दिए गए कि परीक्षा केंद्रों के आसपास अनावश्यक भीड़ न होने दी जाए, ताकि परीक्षा प्रक्रिया प्रभावित न हो और अभ्यर्थियों को सुरक्षित माहौल मिल सके.

सिटी कंट्रोल रूम से भी मॉनिटरिंग की गयी.

यूपी पुलिस एसआई परीक्षा मुजफ्फरनगर शहर में विधि-व्यवस्था बनाये रखने के लिए सिटी कंट्रोल रूम से भी निगरानी की गयी.

नगर पुलिस अधीक्षक ने कंट्रोल रूम में लगे कैमरों के माध्यम से शहर के विभिन्न इलाकों की स्थिति देखी. इसके जरिए यह सुनिश्चित किया गया कि परीक्षा के दौरान पूरे शहर में यातायात व्यवस्था और कानून व्यवस्था पूरी तरह नियंत्रण में रहे.

पुलिस सीसीटीवी सर्विलांस सिस्टम के जरिए शहर की गतिविधियों पर लगातार नजर रख रही है, ताकि किसी भी आपात स्थिति में तुरंत कार्रवाई की जा सके.

निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी परीक्षा कराने का लक्ष्य
