Coimbatore: PM Narendra Modi on Saturday said a new chapter is being written in Tamil Nadu politics and people are giving a clear message that “NDA is in and DMK is out”. At an election rally in Coimbatore, Modi said that if the Women’s Reservation Bill had been passed, many Tamil women from ordinary families would have become MPs and MLAs. “A noble effort derailed. DMK, Congress and allies made it a target of hatred and petty politics. She asked, “Why do DMK and Congress feel troubled seeing common women moving forward?” He said that women in the state have a good opportunity to teach DMK a lesson on April 23. Attacking CM MK Stalin over dynasty politics, Modi said, “DMK’s policy is ‘for the family, for the family and for the family’. CM, Deputy CM, MPs and (and) media houses are controlled by a family. There is a big competition between son and son-in-law.” The competition is about who is involved in more corruption.
