Motivational Quote of the Day by Tim Cook: ‘Let your happiness lie in your journey – not in some distant goal’

Motivational Quote of the Day by Tim Cook: 'Let your happiness lie in your journey – not in some distant goal'
Chasing future achievements often leads to a life of waiting and neglect of the present. The article emphasizes on finding joy in the journey, not just the destination. By appreciating small victories and learning from challenges, individuals can experience a more meaningful and fulfilling life rather than constantly postponing happiness.

There is something really calming about this line. It doesn’t yell at you. It doesn’t promote a hustle culture or ask you to chase success as if your life depends on it. Instead, it quietly shifts your attention – from where you’re going to how you’re getting there. And honestly, this is something that most of us forget. We have become accustomed to living for “the next thing.” Next promotion. Next relationship. Next milestone. There will always be times when that happens, I will be happy. But what Tim Cook is saying here is simple: If your happiness is always tied to something distant, you will spend most of your life waiting.

We’re trained to chase the finish line

Think about it. From a young age we are taught to focus on results.Study hard → get good markswork hard → get a good jobsave money → buy a houseContinue → Make It SomedayThere is always a finish line. And yes, goals are important. They give direction. They push you forward. But somewhere along the way we start believing that only the end result matters. Everything else simply becomes a struggle we have to “overcome.”This is where the problem starts.Because life is not just about big wins. It’s made up mostly of short, simple days.If you don’t find joy in them, you are basically wasting most of your life.

Travel is where life really happens

Let’s break it down in the simplest way possible. The “goal” is just a moment.“Journey” is everything beyond that. The job you want? Interviews, learning, failures – that’s the journey. The relationship you dream of? Conversation, growth, understanding – this is the journey.Even something as basic as getting fit – the workouts, the discipline, the days when you don’t feel like showing up – that’s the journey. And here’s the truth: Once you reach a goal, happiness doesn’t last forever. You celebrate, you feel good… and then what? You move on to the next goal.So if you keep putting off happiness until “later,” you are constantly pushing happiness further away.

Why does enjoying the process change everything?

When you start enjoying travelling, things start seeming lighter. You’re not just working – you’re learning. You’re not just struggling – you’re growing. You’re not just waiting – you’re living. This does not mean that everything becomes easy. It just means that everything becomes meaningful.

Quote of the day by Apple CEO Tim Cook (Image source: Wikipedia)

Quote of the day by Apple CEO Tim Cook (Image source: Wikipedia)

Even the hard days feel different. Because instead of thinking, “Why is this happening to me?” You start thinking, “What is this teaching me?”That change is powerful.

It’s not about being happy all the time

Let’s be real for a second.Enjoying travel doesn’t mean you’ll wake up every day feeling inspired and positive. Life doesn’t work like this. There will be days when you feel tired, frustrated, even defeated. But the idea is not to view those days as “wasted” or “in the way.” They are also part of this process.Development is messed up. Progress is slow. And sometimes traveling seems boring. But if you can find even small moments of joy – like completing a task, learning something new, or just showing up – then you’re already doing it right.

An easy way to understand it

Think of it like a journey.Imagine you are planning a trip and saying, “I will be happy only after reaching the destination.”Sounds weird, right?Because the whole point of traveling is the experience – the sights, the food, the people, the random moments.Life also works like this.If you only care about “getting somewhere,” you miss everything in between.

Social media makes it more difficult

Let’s be honest – it’s hard to maintain this mindset today. We are constantly looking at other people’s “end results” online.Someone got promoted.Someone bought a house.Someone got married.Someone has “made it.”And this creates pressure. Like you’re behind. Like your trip wasn’t good enough. But what you don’t see is their process. Struggles, failures, doubts. So you start comparing your behind-the-scenes footage to someone else’s highlight reel. And that’s a losing game.

How to Really Enjoy Your Trip (Without Overthinking)

You don’t need major life changes. Just small changes:Slow down a little – no need to rush into everythingFocus on small wins – A task accomplished? showed? he mattersStop waiting for “perfect” moments – they rarely comeBe present – even boring moments matterGive yourself credit – you’re doing better than you think

Tim Cook

The move comes after several US-based tech giants suspended their services in the country.

It’s not about becoming super-mindful overnight. It’s about being a little more mindful in your everyday life.

The deeper meaning of this quote

What Tim Cook is actually saying is this:Don’t put your happiness on hold.Because if you do, you’ll always be chasing something. And the chase never really ends. But when you learn to enjoy where you are – even if it’s not perfect – you feel more grounded. More peacefully. You stop rushing through life… and start actually living it.There will always be goals. New ones will keep coming. But your journey? This is what is happening right now.In small moments. In effort. The days in between may not seem “big” but they still matter. So don’t wait for some distant finish line to feel happy.Find something – anything – in your day that makes you feel good. Even if it is small.Because at the end of the day, life isn’t about where you end up.It’s about how you lived while you got there.

The US military released a video on Monday showing a machine gunner in a helicopter warning a cargo ship to turn back if detected near Iranian ports, as the US military continues a maritime blockade amid escalating tensions with Iran.Footage shared by United States Central Command on“This is United States Warship 115. You are entering a military blockade area. This blockade of Iranian ports will be enforced and will apply to all ships regardless of flag,” the radio warning in the video said.“Any vessel intending to enter or exit an Iranian port will be subject to the right to search and search in accordance with international law. If you attempt to escape [from] Blockade We will force compliance with force. Above.”Centcom said US forces have directed 27 ships to turn away or return to Iranian ports since the blockade of ships entering or exiting Iranian coastal areas began. The military footage comes as maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz has once again been disrupted amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran.Shipping in the strategic narrow chokepoint has become increasingly restricted, according to vessel tracking data cited by AFP, with both sides imposing separate blockades that have complicated commercial movement through the Gulf region.Iran briefly announced the reopening of the strategic waterway, but the United States did not ease sanctions on ships passing through Iranian ports. Dozens of ships passed through the strait during the brief opening, before Tehran later warned that any approaching ship would be treated as a target and the route would be closed again.Since then, only a few ships have succeeded in crossing. Maritime tracking firm Kpler said only four ships had passed in either direction since Sunday. Among them was the Iranian-flagged Nova Crest, which is under US sanctions and was seen leaving the Gulf and transiting the Gulf of Oman.US enforcement of the blockade is usually implemented when ships approach Iran’s maritime border with Pakistan. Several ships have reportedly been ordered to divert or turn back, including tankers and container ships tracked in the area.Meanwhile, Iran has also moved to claim control of the strait, with incidents involving ships flagged by different countries increasing tensions in the busy shipping lane. Some ships have reported damage or been forced to divert course amid the disruptions.Tracking data also indicates that hundreds of commercial vessels remain active in the Gulf despite the restrictions, with traffic through one of the world’s most important energy corridors continuing but disrupted. The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) also released footage on Monday showing a maritime operation in which US Marines boarded the Iranian-flagged container ship Touska in the Gulf of Oman. Video shared by CENTCOM on The footage captures the tactical sequence as crews disembark from the aircraft and safely access the ship amid tight surveillance of commercial shipping lanes in the area.Iran’s Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya military headquarters later confirmed the incident, calling it an attack on an Iranian commercial ship in the Sea of Oman, and Tehran accused the US of “violating the ceasefire and committing piracy” by attacking and firing at the ship, confirming that the ship had been seized. Following the incident, the Iranian military issued a warning of retaliation, saying, “We warn that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon respond to this armed robbery of the US military and will retaliate,” further escalating tensions between the two countries, which have been in conflict since February 28 and are currently under a fragile ceasefire.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi (screen grab)

Raw numbers often dominate modern cricket conversations, but it is emotion that gives the game its soul. Beyond the scorecard and strike rate, the game is shaped by moments that reveal the human side of the players. A similar scene came to light after a clash in Eden Gardens on April 19. Rajasthan Royals And Kolkata Knight Riders. As the dust settled on RR’s defeat, a young man came forward. Fifteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, one of this season’s brightest emerging talents, was clearly emotional. The teenager, who once again impressed with the bat, appeared disappointed as the result slipped out of his hands. It was a raw, unfiltered response that made an immediate impact. However, what happened next elevated the moment even beyond the outcome. KKR fielding coach Dishant Yagnik He came forward and consoled the young man. It was a simple gesture, but reflected the deep spirit of cricket. In a league driven by fierce competition, it was a reminder that respect and empathy still have their place.

The conversation took on even more meaning given their shared past. Yagnik had previously worked with RR as their fielding head coach, during the phase when the franchise invested heavily in nurturing young prospects like Suryavanshi. Even after his move to KKR, that relationship clearly endured, underscoring how relationships in franchise cricket often transcend team loyalties.Suryavanshi had done her job on the field. His innings of 46 runs in 28 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes provided RR with a strong platform. However, the middle order could not take advantage of this and the innings lost momentum at crucial stages.Despite the setback, the young batsman’s form remains very positive. With 246 runs in six matches, he is currently fourth in the race for the Orange Cap, underscoring his consistency and influence at the top.RR, placed third in the table with four wins from six matches, eight points and a net run rate of +0.599, will now turn their attention to their next match against Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday. Yet, beyond the points and standings, there are moments that remind everyone why cricket continues to resonate beyond the borders.

“What is the value of Indian Rupee 100 in London?” One Woman’s Supermarket Taste Shocks the Internet and Indians

“What is the value of Indian Rupee 100 in London?” One Woman's Supermarket Taste Shocks the Internet and Indians

“What is the value of Indian Rupee 100 here?” The video with over three million views begins like this. A short, playful video recently shared by VeggieWander on Instagram is going viral across India. It begins with a woman holding a ₹100 note walking through a supermarket on a high street in London. What happened next is not just an experiment but a sober reality check on the cost of living in a foreign land. For those who don’t know, London is often ranked among the most expensive cities to live in the world.₹100 note has good value in India. In some parts of India one can easily buy some quick breakfast, a cup of tea or coffee, or shake and even a basic meal or thali. However, in the UK, the currency is around £0.80 (pound). Let’s see what happens next: As soon as a woman enters the market, her search begins with hope. She thinks, maybe for ₹100 she can get a simple cheese and onion sandwich? But she seemed pretty shaken by the reality that the sandwich cost £1.50 (out of her budget). She starts looking for other items, scanning the shelves with curiosity. He finds a basic necessity: a bottle of water. “I will probably run out of water,” she says, convinced that for ₹100 she should at least get a 500 ml bottle. But his hopes are soon dashed after seeing the price. This bottle costs £1.15 i.e. around ₹143. “I won’t even finish the water,” she says and walks away. Basic things like drinking water are not available for ₹100. But his search does not stop here. She buys a head of cabbage which also costs £0.89—still expensive. Next comes a packet of Oreos, which costs £1.65, which is also way out of the budget. “No, I can’t even buy a packet of Oreos for 100 rupees, because that too is 1.65 pounds.” Every item she picks up tells the same story: There’s nothing worth ₹100 here.At last, his search ended. He finds one thing that is within his budget, a small packet of carrots that costs £0.60 (about ₹75). “Oh man. The only thing I can take is this packet of carrots, which is .6 pounds, so let’s just take that,” she says, laughing half-heartedly. importance of video

value of 100

For many Indians, ₹100 is pricey enough for everyday utility. For us, it’s our auto fare, a plate of chaat, idli sambar and other street food. This is also a dozen bananas or half a kilo of apples. But not in London. The same amount is almost nothing when it comes to value. This video is not only about currency conversion but also about purchasing power, cost of living in a foreign country and the strength of the local currency. Having said that, salaries in UK are much higher than in India. But for visitors and travelers, the difference seems obvious. Finally, the video doesn’t need dramatic commentary. It just shows, how far ₹100 can travel across the border, via a woman’s grocery shop.

Teaching time management in small, fun ways

Teaching time management in small, fun ways

Time management is something we hear about everywhere. It is often talked about in big and serious terms. But real life rarely works that way. Most of us juggle jobs, studies, work and spend time with family. We don’t need perfect plans. We need simple ways to make time work for us. Teaching time management doesn’t have to be boring or strict. Small, fun habits can make a real difference. Many people believe that time management means waking up earlier or getting more done in less time. This idea may seem exhausting before you even start. In fact, it often starts with noticing where time quietly goes by. For children and adults, timing skills work best when they feel manageable. If something feels too stiff, it usually won’t last. When it feels light and flexible, people are more likely to stick with it.

Mindful Parenting: Developing Emotional Intelligence in Children

not too long, not too short

A big hurdle for most people is starting something that feels too big. Long-term plans with lofty goals can seem overwhelming. But it seems easier to break time into smaller pieces. One method that many people like is the Pomodoro Technique. You work for about 25 minutes, then take a break of 5 minutes. Take a long break after a few rounds. That little rhythm makes work less tiring. Most people find they can concentrate better this way because the time is divided into manageable chunks. A scoping review published in BMC Medical Education found that structured Pomodoro breaks improved sustained focus, reduced mental fatigue, and enhanced sustained work performance compared to a self-paced break pattern. This approach also allows small pockets of comfort. This prevents the mind from feeling stuck. When people know that they are going to be discharged soon, they are not afraid to start working. They work in short bursts, then reset with a break. For younger children, this idea can be simplified even further: ten minutes of homework followed by a short break. A timer helps because it takes the pressure off the parent. The timer becomes the “boss”, not the adult giving frequent reminders. Less time constraint also helps people feel finished more often. Instead of working endlessly, you reach smaller milestones during the day. The feeling of fulfillment matters more than people realize.

Convert wait time to useful time

We all wait during the day. Waiting for the bus, waiting in line, waiting for water to boil, these moments add up. A study on daily wait time habits found that people spend about 60% of those moments on leisure activities, but some people also use that brief time to do small productive tasks like making plans or replying to instant messages, which can reduce stress and help stay on track without much effort. The idea is simple: You don’t need to save huge chunks of time to get the job done. A few minutes here and there may be enough to respond to quick messages, plan the next task, or run a little detail. Turning these waiting moments into productive time can reduce stress and help you stay on track without much effort. This works well for children too. While waiting for dinner, they can pack their bags for the next day. While waiting for class to start, they can revise a short list or organize their desk. These activities don’t seem like extra work. They fit into moments that already exist.

Light, playful ideas that work

Not all time management strategies need to feel like rules. Some may be playful or part of your daily life. Try using small timers for small tasks like answering emails or tidying up your desk. This turns the task into a quick challenge rather than a long drawn out oneAnother idea is to track time in a simple chart. Write down how long the tasks take. Seeing patterns can be surprising and helpful. You may realize that a task you thought took an hour actually took twenty minutes. That little truth helps you plan better next time. Some families turn the time into a game: Who can be ready before the song ends? How much can be put in before the timer goes off? These thoughts do not turn time into stress. They make it feel lighter. For adults, playful tools can be just as useful. Color-coding tasks, using sticky notes, or moving cards from one side of the board to the other can make the work less flat. These little visual cues make progress visible and satisfying.

Rewards That Don’t Waste Time

It doesn’t take much to reward yourself. Even small rewards can make a routine more fun. For example, after finishing a writing session, rest for a few minutes or have a cup of tea. Over time, your brain begins to associate finishing a task with a pleasant moment. This helps you remain consistent. For children, rewards don’t need to be treats or gifts. Extra play time, choosing a song, or choosing the next activity may be enough. The main thing is that the reward seems immediate and simple. When rewards are small, they don’t disrupt the flow of the day. They silently support it.

make it a part of real life

Time management doesn’t work well when it only lives in a planner or phone app. It needs to fit into everyday life. A real way to do this is to add small tasks into the routine you already have. For example, if you drink your morning coffee every day, add a short planning session to it. When you get home from work, spend a few minutes clearing your desk before you relax. This makes timing habits part of what you’re already doing, not something extra you need to start from scratch.Children also benefit from this approach. Homework after snack time. Packing bags after dinner. When tasks are tied to routine, there is less interaction and fewer reminders. Everyone’s life is different, and that’s okay. It is not necessary that time habits are the same for everyone. What matters is finding small ways to make your hours a little more purposeful.

a quiet feeling of progress

Teaching time management in small, fun ways doesn’t mean you’ll suddenly master time forever. This means that you notice how you spend the moment and gradually adjust. It’s all about mixing utility with ease. Instead of big, strict schedules, these habits fit into daily life. You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t need grand goals. All you need are a few simple habits that feel natural. Over time, those habits create something stable, not a control over time, but a calm relationship with it.

D4vd faces serious allegations as investigation reaches critical point

According to the District Attorney, D4vd has been charged with murder, a very serious crime. He is also charged with abuse of a child and dismemberment of human remains. Officials say the case involves specific claims such as “Lying in wait, means they believe that he planned the act, and “Murder of a witness,” Because the girl was part of another investigation.Authorities believe Celeste went to D4vd’s home in April 2025 and was never seen again.
