He tells a story. “I was contesting against Union Minister Babu Raj Bahadur, who once stopped midway to help me during my campaign when my vehicle broke down. उत्तर प्रदेश के मुसाफिरखाना इलाके में गुरुवार शाम एक सड़क हादसा हुआ, जिसमें ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली और ट्रक की टक्कर में चार लोग घायल हो गए. यह हादसा उस वक्त हुआ जब लकड़ी लदी ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली मझियारिया से कस्बा मुसाफिरखाना की तरफ आ रही थी. हादसे के बाद मौके पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई, लेकिन घायलों को समय रहते अस्पताल पहुंचा दिया गया। पुलिस ने स्थिति को संभाल लिया है और यातायात सुचारू कर दिया है और मामले में आगे की कार्रवाई की जा रही है.
कैसे हुआ हादसा?
जानकारी के मुताबिक ये घटना 26 मार्च 2026 की रात करीब 9:30 बजे की है. ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली पर लकड़ी लदी थी और वह मझियारिया से मुसाफिरखाना की ओर आ रही थी। जैसे ही ट्रैक्टर मंगलम फ्लाईओवर के पास हाईवे पर विपरीत दिशा से चलने लगा, पीछे से आ रहे ट्रक (नंबर जीजे03बीवी4130) ने जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि ट्रैक्टर पर सवार सभी लोग घायल हो गये.
घायलों की पहचान एवं स्थिति
इस दुर्घटना में ट्रैक्टर चालक मुजाहिद अली (30 वर्ष) और तीन अन्य लोग घायल हो गये. घायलों में मोहम्मद जहीर (40 वर्ष), इम्तियाज (25 वर्ष) और वाशिक (40 वर्ष) शामिल हैं. सभी लोग जमुआरी तकिया थाना मुसाफिरखाना के निवासी बताये जा रहे हैं. हादसे के बाद सभी को तुरंत अस्पताल ले जाया गया.
गंभीर रूप से घायलों को रेफर कर दिया गया
घायलों में मुजाहिद अली की हालत गंभीर है और उन्हें बेहतर इलाज के लिए केजीएमयू लखनऊ रेफर किया गया है. जबकि मोहम्मद जहीर को जिला अस्पताल सुलतानपुर भेजा गया है। बाकी घायलों का इलाज स्थानीय स्तर पर किया जा रहा है.
यातायात बहाल, स्थिति नियंत्रण में
हादसे के बाद प्रशासन ने तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए ट्रैक्टर और ट्रक को हाईवे से हटा दिया. कुछ देर के लिए यातायात प्रभावित हुआ, लेकिन बाद में इसे सामान्य कर लिया गया. पुलिस के मुताबिक, मौके पर कानून-व्यवस्था की कोई समस्या नहीं है और स्थिति पूरी तरह नियंत्रण में है.

New Delhi: In a major push for defense acquisitions, the Rajnath Singh-led Defense Acquisition Council on Friday approved various proposals worth about Rs 2.38 lakh crore, including additional units of Russian-made S-400 long-range surface-to-air missile systems and 155 mm Dhanush – howitzer – gun systems.“The decisions taken in the Defense Acquisition Council (DAC) will help in further strengthening India’s defense preparedness. It is heartening to note that in the financial year 2025-26, AON for 55 proposals amounting to Rs 6.73 lakh crore has been approved by the DAC. Additionally, capital procurement contracts have been signed for 503 proposals amounting to Rs 2.28 lakh crore in the current financial year. This is the highest in any financial year. numbers in the year,” Rajnath said in a post on X.The approval for additional S-400 ‘Sudarshan’ systems, which helped neutralize Pakistani missiles during the conflict in May last year and was also credited with shooting down an enemy aircraft from the longest range in the world, comes at a time when Indian Air Force teams are in Russia to receive a fourth squadron under an earlier contract for five such systems.The fourth system is likely to arrive by May and the fifth squadron by December.Another major approval is the approval for procurement of medium transport aircraft, of which there will likely be 60, to replace the Indian Air Force’s aging transport fleet of AN32 and IL-76, helping the force meet the strategic, tactical and operational airlift requirements of the Army. Brazilian firm Embraer, US company Lockheed Martin and Russian manufacturer Ilyushin are the main contenders for the mega contract.For the Army, the Defense Council has approved air defense track system, armour-piercing tank ammunition, high capacity radio relay, runway independent air surveillance system and 155 mm bow gun system. For air defense tracked systems, reports indicate that India may acquire the Russian Pantsir-S1 system to protect its S-400 assets from low-flying threats and drones.“The air defense track system will provide real-time air defense control and reporting capability, while high-capacity radio relays will provide reliable and fail-proof communications,” a Defense Ministry statement said. The Runway Independent Air Surveillance System will provide surveillance capabilities to Army units, with armor piercing tank ammunition enhancing the lethality of anti-tank ammunition.The 155 mm Dhanush howitzer guns, deployed along the borders with Pakistan and China, will enhance the artillery’s capabilities to engage targets at long ranges in all terrains with increased lethality and accuracy. The indigenous guns, whose design is based on the Bofors howitzer, have already been inducted into the Army as an order for 114 guns was placed a few years ago.For the IAF, the DAC has approved the overhaul of remotely piloted strike aircraft and Su-30 aero engine assemblies to extend the service life of the IAF’s main fighter aircraft. Luxmaxing streamer Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, is in jail in Florida after police said he encouraged a fight between two women on his live stream. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened on February 2 at an Airbnb near Kissimmee. A 19-year-old woman told deputies she was attacked by 24-year-old Violet Marie Lentz during a fight. Video from the stream allegedly shows Clavicular instigating the fight and posting it on social media.Clavicular was arrested on warrants for misdemeanor battery and criminal conspiracy to commit battery. Authorities say neither he nor Violet, who is reportedly his girlfriend, spoke to deputies at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office reviewed the video and spoke to witnesses before issuing an arrest warrant. Clavicular is later captured in Fort Lauderdale and booked into the Broward County Jail, while Violet’s warrant is still active as authorities continue to search for her.

New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the Center will revise a controversial NCERT textbook chapter on judiciary under the supervision of a committee led by former Supreme Court judge Indu Malhotra.The minister said that this step has been taken following the guidance of the Supreme Court and the aim of this effort is to ensure transparency and balance in school education.On the recent controversy involving UGC rules aimed at maintaining standards, quality and equity in Indian higher education, Pradhan refrained from commenting in detail, noting that the matter is sub-judice. He said, “The responsibility of the government is to ensure that no one faces injustice or discrimination. We will follow whatever directions the court issues.”Outlining the broader priorities of the ministry, Pradhan said the education system currently serves around 30 crore students, which places significant responsibility on policy makers. He stressed on increasing access to quality resources including technology-driven education, better infrastructure and strong research ecosystem.Highlighting recent trends, the minister said India’s presence in global university rankings has grown rapidly over the past decade, with the number of institutions included in the QS rankings increasing from 54 before 2014 to about 290 now. He attributed this growth to continued policy focus on higher education reforms.Pradhan also emphasized the role of emerging technologies, noting that artificial intelligence will be integrated into learning systems both as a subject and a tool. “Students should be prepared for future challenges through modern technologies,” the minister said.
Joe Rogan isn’t entirely sold on the idea of holding an Ultimate Fighting Championship event at the White House.
