घटना जामों थाना क्षेत्र के राजा गौरा गांव की है, जहां चोरों ने बड़े ही अनोखे अंदाज में चोरी की घटना को अंजाम दिया. आमतौर पर चोरी की घटनाएं घरों या दुकानों में होती रहती हैं, लेकिन इस बार चोरों ने सड़क किनारे रखे ट्रांसफार्मर को निशाना बनाया. यह घटना इलाके के लोगों के लिए पूरी तरह सदमे जैसी थी.

सुबह जब स्थानीय लोगों ने ट्रांसफार्मर की हालत देखी तो सभी हैरान रह गये. कुछ ही देर में मौके पर भारी भीड़ जमा हो गई। लोग चिंतित दिखे कि अब बिजली व्यवस्था भी प्रभावित हो सकती है.
