मुजफ्फरनगर साइबर अपराध के खिलाफ चल रहे अभियान के तहत साइबर क्राइम थाना पुलिस ने फर्जी एनईएफटी पेमेंट स्लिप दिखाकर व्यवसायियों से ठगी करने वाले एक शातिर आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है. कारोबारी को फर्जी पेमेंट का स्क्रीनशॉट दिखाकर आरोपी 1 लाख रुपये का माल लेकर फरार हो गया था.

पुलिस ने इलेक्ट्रॉनिक और स्टेटिक सर्विलांस के आधार पर आरोपी को बुढ़ाना रोड क्षेत्र से गिरफ्तार कर लिया. मामले में आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई चल रही है.

फर्जी एनईएफटी स्क्रीनशॉट दिखाकर एक लाख रुपये का तांबे का तार खरीदा

घटना तब सामने आई जब एक कारोबारी ने साइबर थाने में शिकायत दर्ज कराई कि एक शख्स ने उसकी दुकान से करीब 1 लाख रुपये का तांबे का तार खरीदा और पेमेंट के नाम पर NEFT का स्क्रीनशॉट दिखाया.

कुछ देर बाद जब रकम कारोबारी के खाते में नहीं पहुंची तो उसे धोखाधड़ी का शक हुआ। जांच के बाद यह स्पष्ट हो गया कि भुगतान रसीद फर्जी थी।

कैम स्कैनर ऐप से फर्जी भुगतान रसीद तैयार की गई थी

पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपी ने स्वीकार किया कि उसने कैम स्कैनर ऐप का उपयोग करके नकली एनईएफटी रसीद तैयार की थी। उन्होंने बताया कि उन्होंने पहले ही वास्तविक भुगतान करके उसी दुकान से सामान खरीद लिया था, जिसके कारण उन्होंने दुकानदार का विश्वास जीत लिया।

इसी भरोसे का फायदा उठाकर उसने दोबारा उसी दुकान से महंगा सामान लेकर धोखाधड़ी की।

गाजियाबाद निवासी मुजम्मिल गिरफ्तार, एक आरोपी अभी भी फरार

गिरफ्तार आरोपी की पहचान मुजम्मिल पुत्र साजिद अली निवासी बेहटा हाजीपुर थाना लोनी बॉर्डर जिला गाजियाबाद के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस के मुताबिक इस मामले में जव्वाद पुत्र शहाबुद्दीन निवासी लोनी बॉर्डर गाजियाबाद की तलाश जारी है।

पुलिस टीम फरार आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए लगातार प्रयास कर रही है.

मोबाइल फोन से मिले 19 फर्जी पेमेंट स्क्रीनशॉट, 8.36 लाख रुपये की धोखाधड़ी का खुलासा

आरोपी के मोबाइल फोन की जांच के दौरान पुलिस को 19 अलग-अलग फर्जी पेमेंट रसीदों के स्क्रीनशॉट मिले, जिनकी कुल रकम करीब 8 लाख 36 हजार 237 रुपये बताई जा रही है.

इन रसीदों में सबसे बड़ी रकम 2 लाख रुपये मिली. पुलिस अब शामिल बैंक खातों और संभावित पीड़ितों के बारे में जानकारी इकट्ठा करके अन्य मामलों की भी जांच कर रही है।

पहले भी कर चुके हैं इसी तरह की धोखाधड़ी

प्रारंभिक पूछताछ में आरोपी ने बताया कि वर्ष 2024 में भी उसने बुढ़ाना क्षेत्र में इसी तरह की धोखाधड़ी की थी, जिस मामले में वह जेल भी जा चुका है.

पुलिस का मानना ​​है कि आरोपी लंबे समय से इस तरह की योजनाबद्ध धोखाधड़ी में सक्रिय है और अन्य जिलों में भी उसके नेटवर्क की जांच की जा रही है.

साइबर क्राइम के खिलाफ अभियान के तहत की गई कार्रवाई

यह कार्रवाई अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक, मेरठ जोन एवं पुलिस उप महानिरीक्षक, सहारनपुर जोन के निर्देशन में वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक द्वारा की गयी। संजय कुमार वर्मा पर्यवेक्षण एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक अपराध इंदु सिद्धार्थ के निर्देशन में किया गया।

अभियान का नेतृत्व थाना साइबर क्राइम प्रभारी निरीक्षक कर्मवीर सिंह ने किया.

व्यापारियों को डिजिटल भुगतान स्वीकार करते समय सावधानी बरतने की सलाह दी गई

पुलिस अधिकारियों ने व्यापारियों से अपील की है कि वे डिजिटल भुगतान प्राप्त करते समय केवल स्क्रीनशॉट पर भरोसा न करें और बैंक खाते में राशि की पुष्टि होने के बाद ही सामान सौंपें।

साइबर अपराध की बढ़ती घटनाओं को देखते हुए सतर्कता को बेहद जरूरी बताया गया है.

इस गिरफ्तारी अभियान में प्रभारी निरीक्षक कर्मवीर सिंह, निरीक्षक इंद्रजीत सिंह, उपनिरीक्षक मुबारिक हसन, धर्मराज सिंह, हेड कांस्टेबल आकाश कुमार, सुनील कुमार व बालकिशन सहित साइबर क्राइम थाने की टीम के अन्य सदस्य शामिल रहे.
