“It’s a huge waste of time”: Clavicular claims chasing girls ruins lives and people are angry

Clavicular’s outspoken stance on dating has sparked intense debate online. He argues that chasing women and constantly dating does not provide long-term value and can even make life worse. While some support their focus on self-development and priorities, others defend them as essential to relationships. His viral comments have rekindled questions about modern dating, validation and how young people choose to spend their time.

Rarely do online debates hit so close to home. But when Clavicular’s comments on dating started circulating, people didn’t ignore them. He reacted. Some nodded in agreement. Others pushed back vigorously. The reason is simple. His words challenge a belief many don’t even question, the idea that receiving attention and romantic success is a sign of progress. What makes this clip stand out isn’t its tone, but its honesty. It didn’t feel scripted or filtered. It seemed as if someone was reflecting on the mistakes and patterns they had already gone through. That raw edge was what attracted people and kept the conversation going.

Why the clavicular view on dating is stirring debate

“I don’t like when people focus too much on girls looking for the max, because chasing tail won’t really get you anywhere. You can become the most successful assassin and play the best game ever, sleep with a different girl every night, but your life won’t really change, and in many cases it will get worse.”“I’ve experienced something similar. It’s a huge waste of time just talking to girls, going on dates and things like that.”That’s why those lines are being shared everywhere. They toss out the usual advice and go straight to a hard truth. Clavicular is not saying that relationships have no value. He is pointing out what happens when they become the main target rather than a part of a larger life. For many people, dating today can feel like a loop. New conversation. New plans. Same result. It creates excitement for a short period of time but rarely leads to anything permanent unless there is an intention behind it. Over time, that cycle can destroy more energy than it gives back. His approach also reflects a change in the thinking of some youth. Instead of constantly chasing recognition, there is an increasing focus on building skills, careers, and self-worth that do not depend on anyone else’s approval. This does not mean ignoring relationships. This means putting them in the right place.Still, not everyone agrees. Some people believe that relationships and experiences are essential parts of development. And they are not wrong. But this is what makes this debate worthwhile.Because at the end of the day, the real question isn’t about dating. It’s about direction.

5 IPL records that seem impossible to break, but not for Vaibhav Suryavanshi. cricket news

5 IPL records that seem impossible to break, but not for Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is set to play his first full IPL season this year (IPL/BCCI Photo)

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been on the record breaking/setting spree for the last one year or so and he is preparing for his second innings. IPL Going into the season, expectations are sky high from the 15-year-old Boy Wonder. While the jury is still out on whether he can shake off the second-season blues – teams are better prepared to deal with his brutality with the bat – Sooryavanshi is not one to back down or get bogged down. He showed glimpses last season of what he could do in the IPL, scoring 252 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 206.56, including a century and a half-century. So, what can we expect from Sooryavanshi in its second season? A lot more – plus these five iconic IPL records, once considered unbeatable, can be held by the 15-year-old teenager.

Greenstone Lobo predicts the winner of IPL 2026

Highest individual score – 175 (Chris Gayle)*

The highest individual score in the IPL belongs to the iconic Chris Gayle when he took the 2013 edition by storm with a sensational 175 not out off just 66 balls against a poor bowling attack of Pune Warriors at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru – or ‘Galestorm’, if you want to put it that way. With 13 fours and 17 sixes, it was a spectacular innings that has not been seen since and many believe it is a record that can stand the test of time. But with Vaibhav Suryavanshi breaking all kinds of records left, right and centre, is Gayle’s record finally in danger? This could be very good. Suryavanshi has a tendency to become really big whenever it enters. Sample this:His highest score in Youth T20 is 144 runs off just 42 balls – and he was out in the 15th over. His highest score in Youth ODI is 175 runs off 80 balls in the final of the 2026 Under-19 World Cup – and he was out in the 26th over. His next best of 171 came in the Under-19 Asia Cup off just 95 balls and once again he was out in the 33rd over. And he scored 190 runs in 84 balls in Vijay Hazare Trophy and was out in the 27th over. Need any proof that this breakout beast can topple Chris Gayle’s unmatched record of highest individual score in IPL?

Most sixes in an innings – 17 (Chris Gayle)

Courtesy the above innings, the record again belongs to Gayle. Seventeen sixes in a team’s T20 innings is an insane feat in itself, but to hit it single-handedly is once again beyond comparison. Then again, records are meant to be broken, and if there is anyone who can surpass the great Gayle, it is the ruthless Suryavanshi.Back to the samples: Suryavanshi hit 15 sixes during his 144-run innings in the Youth T20 match, and then 15 more in the Under-19 World Cup final, and 15 more in that 190-run innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Then again, it should be a fair bet that Suryavanshi can deliver three better performances in this IPL.

Most sixes in a single edition – 59 (Chris Gayle)

And if we are betting on Suryavanshi to break the record of most sixes in an innings, let’s take it a notch further and extend it to most sixes in an IPL season too. Not surprisingly, this record is in the name of Gayle, who hit 59 sixes in the 2012 edition. Andre Russell managed to score 52 runs for KKR in the 2019 edition. Only two players have managed to hit more than 50 sixes in a single edition, with Gayle managing to do so twice (51 in the 2013 season). In his inaugural season, Suryavanshi hit 24 sixes in seven matches. So, if he gets a full season of 14 matches, it would be modest to expect him to hit 50 sixes if he goes ahead.

Highest strike rate in a season – 234.34 (Jake Fraser-McGurk)

Now, this will be a difficult record to break and will require some kind of parameter. Keeping in mind that Vaibhav Suryavanshi plays all 14 games or so, and manages to face at least 10 balls in each game, we put a marker of a minimum of 100 balls in a season to determine the best strike rate.Accordingly, Jake Fraser-McGurk’s whirlwind 2024 season tops the list, having faced a total of 141 deliveries in nine matches at a strike rate of 234.34. And why do we think that Suryavanshi can eclipse it? Well, last season Suryavanshi came close. He finished with a strike rate of 206.55, facing 122 balls in the seven matches he played. So if he has an unpredictable season this time, Suryavanshi has a real chance of topping the charts in terms of strike rate as well – but there are a lot of balls to be faced by Ryder.

six sixes in one over

And finally, a record that we have seen set in first-class cricket, List A and T20 – excluding the IPL: six sixes in an over. Hitting five sixes in an over is the best in IPL, this has been seen five times. Gayle first hit five sixes off the ball of Rahul Sharma of Pune Warriors in 2012. Rahul Tewatia entered IPL folklore in 2020 by hitting five sixes off West Indies international Sheldon Cottrell, and Ravindra Jadeja repeated the feat against RCB’s Harshal Patel in 2021 – also hitting a four – equaling the most runs scored in an over.Rinku Singh This was followed by one of the most exciting overs ever in IPL history, with Yash Dayal hitting five sixes in the final over to win the match for KKR, and in the 2025, Ryan Parag hit five sixes off KKR’s Moeen Ali. Will Suryavanshi – not only add her name to this list – but complete the set with six sixes in an over – a first in the IPL?

Soft Parenting vs. Gentle Parenting: What's the Real Difference and Which Works Better?
Soft Parenting vs. Gentle Parenting: What’s the Real Difference and Which Works Better? (Photo Credit: Shutterstock)

In the modern changing world of parenting, it is common to hear the terms soft parenting and gentle parenting used interchangeably. Although both forms of parenting promote the development of well-rounded and emotionally well-adjusted children, they are not the same. Understanding the differences between the two forms of parenting can enable parents to make more conscious decisions in the parenting process.Soft parenting is a new term that has become popular in the modern world. The new approach to parenting emphasizes flexibility and soft approach in child rearing. In this approach to parenting, the parent’s priority is the child’s comfort and the creation of a stress-free environment. Furthermore, this approach represents changing and flexible forms of parenting that are replacing rigid approaches to parenting. However, the flexible approach of soft parenting makes it difficult for the child to differentiate between right and wrong.

Mindful Parenting: Developing Emotional Intelligence in Children

Gentle parenting, on the other hand, is more structured and purposeful. It’s built on empathy, respect, understanding, and boundary setting. Gentle parents focus on recognizing the child’s feelings as well as guiding them in the right direction in a gentle and assertive manner. Gentle parenting also emphasizes the long-term emotional development of the child and helps them learn important skills in life.Another important area of difference between the two parenting styles is discipline and limit setting. Soft parenting may focus more on avoiding conflicts and making the child uncomfortable. Gentle parenting, however, does not believe in avoiding conflicts and making the child uncomfortable. It simply redefines the discipline. However, both of these approaches are likely to have their own challenges. For example, soft parenting may lack structure, and gentle parenting requires a lot of patience and effort from parents. In the end, it’s not about which one is better. Every family and child is unique in some way. What may work for one family may not be the same for another. The most effective approach may be one that balances the two. Rather than the attitude, what is most important is the environment in which the child grows up.

‘They can go home’: Australians condemn $1.2 million ‘Little India’ build in Melbourne | world News

'They can go home': Australians condemn $1.2 million 'Little India' build in Melbourne

Melbourne Council is to spend a whopping $1.2 million to establish a “Little India” in Docklands, with the hope it will become a “leading cultural precinct” in the city centre. The location was selected after the city spent $150,000 on a scoping study to identify a site as part of efforts to “put Mini India on the map”. Efforts had been underway since 2019 but the council struggled to find space as Indian businesses in the city were spread across several suburbs. Melbourne already has a Chinatown and Koreatown and also a small Indian cultural complex next to Dandenong railway station in the city’s south-east. Thus, the creation of a dedicated Mini India has not been welcomed by Australians online. One user pointed out on He wrote, “If we go to India, we will just have to get used to the Indian way of life. Australia will not be small there and it will not be tolerated either. I have no problem with Indians coming here, but they need to adopt the Australian way of life and our values.” “This is why this beautiful country is falling apart. Food prices, petrol now, national parks are closing left and right, and nightlife has been taken away from Australians for at least a decade now. Yet we are turning Australia into India with our tax money,” said another. “If people miss their homeland, they can go home and this applies to all people living in other countries. Politicians should not use the tax money of native country citizens to turn it into countries and cities that already exist on the planet,” one user condemned. Many netizens in the comments called for the migrants to either be assimilated into the country or deported, with no specific area created to accommodate them. “Australians don’t want a little India in our country. Why are Australians building and funding more cultural enclaves? We have spent millions if not billions just funding Indian community centres, temples, community projects, Indian festivals etc” wrote one, calling for mass deportation and emigration.Councilor Philip Le Liu, portfolio head of the City of Melbourne Creative and Arts Portfolio, revealed that the council was “taking big steps to make Little India a reality,” and this was part of a wider investment in culture and events. Under its $40M budget, the council is set to spend on projects, including:

  • $26 million on major events such as Moomba, Melbourne Fashion Week and New Year’s Eve
  • $2 million on ‘Light Up Melbourne’ project
  • $4.5 million on public art projects, including the Stolen Generation Market
  • $4.2 million for arts grants
  • $2.6 million to upgrade banner poles
  • $420,000 for new City Square Christmas decorations
  • $250,000 for new multicultural event stream
  • $200,000 on refurbishing business premises

According to noticer.com, the budget will be officially released on Tuesday and public consultation on it will be held from March 31 to April 28. The city’s mayor, Nick Reese, said, “We are revitalizing our streets, strengthening our cultural boundaries, and creating a city that feels brighter, safer, and more vibrant for everyone.”

Khelo India Tribal Games: Government’s ‘talent hunt’ or a farce for tribal youth?

Khelo India Tribal Games: Government's 'talent hunt' or a farce for tribal youth?
Khelo India Tribal Games of Chhattisgarh is going to become an annual event, which will serve as an important platform for identifying and nurturing tribal athletic talents. The initiative aims to provide youth with constructive engagement through sports, scholarships, training and pathways to national centers of excellence. The program seeks to unleash the significant sporting potential within tribal communities.

Raipur: Khelo India Tribal Games is being set up as a long-term talent identification and development platform for tribal athletes, with Chhattisgarh as the host state. Sports Authority of India (SAI) Deputy Director General Mayank Srivastava said the initiative was launched to address the lack of sports opportunities in certain sections of the society, especially tribal areas, and to bring more youth into constructive engagement through sports. Under the Khelo India Talent Identification and Development vertical, the selection is not limited to one tournament. The committee also searches for athletes in other competitions. The DDG told TOI that during the Tribal Games, representatives of the committee will evaluate the participants and identify promising talent. Those selected may be called for trials and may either be included as Khelo India athletes or may be directly sent to the National Centers of Excellence of the Sports Authority of India. If the number of athletes is large or placement in NCOE is not possible, they can be accommodated in SAI training centres, where they get free training. Srivastava said that athletes selected under Khelo India on the basis of talent are provided scholarships and training assistance. Apart from the NCOE, there are more than 300 Khelo India-recognised training centers across the country where athletes can train, or they can make their own arrangements. In such a situation, the government provides financial assistance of about Rs 5 lakh to the scholarship holders. On the issue of government job quota for outstanding tribal sports athletes, he clarified that the matter does not directly fall under his jurisdiction. However, he said governments generally reserve jobs for athletes who meet the required criteria, including winning medals in national and international level competitions. He also highlighted the infrastructure component of Khelo India and said Rs 3,000 crore has been allocated under the scheme for sports infrastructure. Along with central assistance, states are also developing their own facilities. According to officials, all states are utilizing the infrastructure provisions of Khelo India and there is no widespread shortage of sports infrastructure in the country. He said the infrastructure will continue to be strengthened, especially if events like tribal games are organized regularly. The broader objective is to involve the youth, he said. Sport was described as the most effective and creative form of engagement for young people, satisfying their need for excitement, competition and physical activity. He argued that greater participation in sports could help keep youth away from destructive thoughts. As an example, he pointed to the Bastar Olympics, where surrendered Naxalites reportedly actively participated and increased demand for sports kits in Jagdalpur. Tribal Games are just the beginning and will now be organized every year in the state. He stressed that there is significant sporting talent in tribal communities and the new platform will help identify athletes, place them on a development path, provide training and tournament exposure and improve their chances of being seen at a higher level. The existing centers at Bilaspur and Raipur along with SAI facilities are expected to support that process.
