मुजफ्फरनगर जिले में अपराध नियंत्रण को प्रभावी बनाने के उद्देश्य से पुलिस प्रशासन ने ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में दर्ज हिस्ट्रीशीटरों के खिलाफ विशेष सत्यापन अभियान शुरू किया है. इस अभियान के तहत विभिन्न थानों में सूचीबद्ध हिस्ट्रीशीटरों को तलब किया गया और उनकी वर्तमान गतिविधियों, निवास और आपराधिक पृष्ठभूमि की गहन समीक्षा की गई।
