A two-time NXT Tag Team Champion, he reflected on his time in WWE, saying: “Thank you to everyone who threw the ‘U’ at the show. Just know that you really helped create something from nothing. When I signed with WWE, on day one, it was made abundantly clear that I was never going to be on television, I was never going to be a superstar. “But then something changed, and it was because of your support and the connection we had.”

Dante Chen also confirmed his departure. He was the first Singapore-born WWE star and spent five years with the company, primarily in NXT and Evolve. He made a singles main roster appearance in February 2024, losing to Braun Breaker.

Several names were also released from WWE’s developmental system. These include Tyra Mae Steele, Serena Linton, Tyson DuPont, Tyreek Igwe, Chris Island, Malik Blade, Trill London and Luca Crucificino.
