It said the stolen information was shared through online channels controlled by Buchanan and his associates.Investigators also found evidence at Buchanan’s home in Scotland. A digital device contained files containing cryptocurrency access details, including victims’ names and addresses, as well as seed phrases used to control digital assets.Authorities said the scheme resulted in the theft of at least $8 million worth of cryptocurrency from victims across the United States.Buchanan pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. He is in US federal custody through April 2025.He is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 21 and could face up to 22 years in prison.This case is part of a wider investigation into the cyber crime network. The DOJ said Buchanan was associated with a group engaged in similar activities, with other individuals also charged.The FBI continues its investigation, while several co-accused individuals face ongoing legal proceedings in the US.

गैस सिलेंडर न मिलने से बढ़ी दिक्कतें
भेटुआ ब्लॉक के प्राथमिक विद्यालय भगवानपुर और प्राथमिक विद्यालय डलाव में गैस सिलेंडर की कमी के कारण मध्याह्न भोजन चूल्हे पर बनाया जा रहा है. लकड़ी और गोबर के उपलों से खाना पकाने के कारण रसोई में धुआं भर जाता है, जिससे वहां काम करने वाले रसोइयों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ता है।
रसोइयों के स्वास्थ्य पर पड़ रहा असर
चूल्हे से उठने वाला धुआं लगातार रसोइयों के संपर्क में आ रहा है, जो उनके स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक साबित हो रहा है. इसके अलावा इस तरह से भोजन तैयार करने में अधिक समय लगता है, जिससे बच्चों को समय पर भोजन नहीं मिल पाता है और वितरण प्रणाली भी प्रभावित होती है.
प्रधानाध्यापकों ने नाराजगी जताई
विद्यालय डलाव के प्रधानाध्यापक राजकुमार व भगवानपुर के प्रधानाध्यापक जय प्रकाश कश्यप ने बताया कि गैस सिलेंडर की आपूर्ति के लिए संबंधित एजेंसी को कई बार सूचित कर चुके हैं. इसके बावजूद समय पर सिलेंडर नहीं मिल पाता है। मजबूरी में उन्हें चूल्हे का सहारा लेना पड़ रहा है, जिससे स्वच्छता व सुरक्षा मानक भी प्रभावित हो रहे हैं।
एजेंसी पर अनियमित आपूर्ति का आरोप लगाया
दोनों विद्यालयों में नौगिरवा स्थित साईं राम भारत गैस ग्रामीण वितरक एजेंसी से गैस कनेक्शन है। स्कूल प्रशासन का कहना है कि एजेंसी द्वारा नियमित रूप से सिलेंडर की आपूर्ति नहीं की जा रही है, जिसके कारण यह समस्या बनी हुई है.
प्रशासन ने समाधान का आश्वासन दिया
खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी भेटुआ डॉ. संतोष कुमार यादव ने बताया कि एजेंसी से संपर्क कर शीघ्र आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने का प्रयास किया गया है। हालांकि आश्वासन के बावजूद अभी तक सिलेंडर उपलब्ध नहीं कराया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस समस्या से उच्च अधिकारियों को अवगत करा दिया गया है और जल्द ही इसका समाधान निकालने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है, ताकि मध्याह्न भोजन योजना सही ढंग से चल सके.
