taylor swift hooting clip Wedding buzz is trending again in NYC travis kels grows

The viral clip reads, “Remember that time the entire stadium screamed when Taylor Swift appeared on the jumbotron at the football game? When she showed Trump, everyone cheered. Swift hates Trump more. Let’s figure it out.”The stadium cameras cut to pop star Taylor Swift. The crowd reacted and made loud noises. However, she does not appear to be alert. Instead, she widens her eyes in a playful manner. Then she smiles within a few seconds. That reaction now drives the entire conversation around the video. As a result, the focus has shifted. People aren’t just talking about noise. They’re describing how Swift handled that moment without any hesitation. The response appears controlled, quick, and self-aware.At the same time, his appearances at Chiefs games attracted major attention on broadcasts, increased coverage and increased viewership, especially among new viewers, making it a major talking point in sports media. Many fans expressed surprise. One fan said, “Swift had that look on her face when she realized people were teasing her.” The other said, “You look like a fool.”Another said, “She’s a despicable Illuminati disciple.”Meanwhile, Travis Kelce addressed the additional spotlight during his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.” He said, “I think it’s fun when they show who’s in the game. Recent reports have pointed to the fact that Kelce and Swift are set to get married on July 3 in New York City. Additionally, initial notifications have already been given to close friends and family. The scale of the incident also comes to light. Swift hinted during “The Graham Norton Show” that the guest list would be “huge”, confirming a larger celebration. Therefore, the viral clip no longer defines that moment. Instead, it adds context. Swift then handled the situation calmly. Since that time, his public presence around the NFL has grown stronger. Her relationship with Kelsey has been stable and visible. So the title stands. The booing clip is back in trend. However, the spotlight is clearly on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce and their New York City wedding.

IPL 2026 Game of the Day: Rasikh Salam beats Mukul Chaudhary, wins RCB’s trust

Coming into the IPL 2026 season, RCB’s bowling attack was lacking certain components. They initially did not have Josh Hazlewood, but his replacement was Jacob Duffy. However, the other missing element was a third fast bowler to complement Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Yash Dayal played this role in their title-winning campaign last year, often coming in as a defensive option and performing well in the death overs. But due to off-field reasons, Dayal was not a part of the RCB team this year. To fill this void they needed to find someone from among themselves.

RCB vs LSG: highlighted | Achievement:

Abhinandan Singh got the first chance, but he could not live up to the expectations. The next option could have been Mangesh Yadav, as he is a left-arm fast bowler, but RCB chose Rasikh Salam instead.

Baroda’s fast bowlers have been around IPL Circuit played for MI, KKR and DC for a long time before moving to RCB. Until last season, he seemed to never find a permanent place in any team, often being used as a marginal player. But now it seems to have changed.

In the game against MI, he was used as a defensive option by Patidar to ensure that runs did not come easily. He gave away 23 runs in his 2.5 overs and also took one wicket before leaving the field due to injury.

He was ready for the challenge once again in Chinnaswamy against LSG on Wednesday, April 16, and knew he had to make a statement. He saw how his senior players, Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar, were doing their job on the difficult Bengaluru track.

His first wicket was lucky, as Aiden Markram got a leading edge from a full toss down the leg side. But he then bowled a brilliant second over against big-hitters Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran, conceding just two runs to signal the end of the powerplay.

The wicket of Ayush Badoni was all about using conditions to your advantage – something you often see in Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar.

But it was his duel with Mukul Choudhary that became India Today’s game of the day for the clash in Chinnaswamy.

Rasikh defeats Mukul in stand-off

This was unlike any other innings Mukul in his short IPL career so far When he came out, LSG were in trouble. He started with a four, but had to be careful with his approach.

This was not Eden’s pitch and the bowling attack looked much more disciplined with its plans. The LSG youngster scored 33 runs in 26 balls and looked ready to explode.

This was the last over of the innings and Mukul was always looking to play a big innings. Patidar handed over the responsibility of closing things down to Rasikh.

There was a stalemate and Rasikh’s first ball was slow. Mukul seemed to have enough time to play two shots and he produced the power to send it into the crowd.

Rasikh managed to end Mukul’s show early and played a vital role in RCB’s victory. (PTI photo)

Fans were expecting a big over and Mukul looked determined to perform well. But then, Rasikh bowled a full delivery which went through Mukul’s legs and hit the leg stump.

The beauty of delivery lies in planning. Realizing that a slower ball was expected, the RCB fast bowler bowled faster and touched 139 kmph.

He could have stuck to his original plan, but instead he troubled Mukul by pitching a bit down the leg side. The change in pace made all the difference and he got the wicket.

Rasikh finished the over with another brilliant yorker, this time removing Avesh Khan’s off stump. He took 4 wickets for 24 runs in his four overs and earned praise from Master Hazlewood himself.

“Rasikh obviously didn’t play the first few games but got picked in the last two and he’s been home training. He’s got some good skills. We’ve seen that in the last few games. He bowls tough overs as well. It’s a big tournament for Rasikh,” Hazlewood said.

With RCB firmly on course to retain their crown, a bowler like Rasikh could prove to be the difference in the end. After years of bouncing between teams, he finally found a home and earned the trust of the RCB faithful.

US Senate Republicans reject Trump's effort to stop Iran war

More than three dozen Democrats supported a resolution introduced in the US Senate by Bernie Sanders To ban arms sales to Israel. The move signals growing unease within the party over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid the ongoing war with Iran. The Senate voted on two separate resolutions seeking to stop the sale of bulldozers and bombs to Israel. The Associated Press reported that both measures were opposed by all Republicans and ultimately rejected with votes of 40–59 and 36–63. Sanders, an independent candidate who allies with the Democrats, has repeatedly pressed lawmakers in both parties to vote on the issue. After the vote, he said, “It’s clear that Democrats are beginning to listen to the average American who is sick and tired of spending billions of dollars to support Netanyahu’s terrible wars when people in this country can’t afford housing or health care.”Among those supporting the proposals was Mark Kelly, who had previously opposed some of Sanders’ previous efforts.Explaining his decision, Kelly said that “reckless decisions” by Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump influenced his vote. He cited the expansion of the conflict in Lebanon and continued violence against Palestinians as factors that have “undermined the path forward for peace.”“Under Prime Minister Netanyahu’s government, we have seen an extended war in Lebanon that is endangering innocent Lebanese civilians, and continued violence against Palestinians and the demolition of their homes in the West Bank. All of this undermines the path forward for peace,” Kelly said. However, several prominent Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, voted against the proposals. The same day, Democrats also supported a separate resolution to prevent US involvement in the Iran conflict, although that measure was rejected by a margin of 47–52. Senator Chris Coons, who voted against Sanders’ Israel proposals but supports ending the Iran war, said his decisions should not be seen as endorsing Netanyahu’s actions or abandoning Israel.Republicans strongly opposed the measures, warning of broader geopolitical consequences. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jim Risch argued that blocking arms sales could embolden Iran and indicated that the United States was prepared to leave Israel vulnerable. “They will not help the United States,” Risch said before the vote.

It is difficult for the court to give verdict on centuries old religious beliefs: CJI Surya Kant

New Delhi: CJI Surya Kant on Wednesday said, “The most difficult part for the constitutional court is to decide whether the age-old faith of millions of devotees is right or wrong.” Dhananjay Mohapatra’s report.Justice MM Sundaresh sympathized with the CJI’s reasoning: “That too without listening to the views of those lakhs of devotees and based solely on the pleadings of the PIL petitioners, the State and religious organizations.”The comments come as the temple administration wing of the CPM-controlled Kerala government’s Travancore Devaswom Board on Wednesday said the Supreme Court could not strike down the age-old practice barring entry of women of menstrual age group into the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple as it was integral to the character of the deity as a brahmachari (atheistic celibate).Senior advocate AM Singhvi, appearing for TDB, told a nine-judge bench that while there are over 1,000 temples in India where women of all ages can enter and worship Lord Ayyappa, the deity at the Sabarimala temple has unique features and expressions. The TDB suggested that the Supreme Court should be extremely cautious while considering PILs of certain persons inviting judicial interference in matters of faith, belief and religion.Referring to the Supreme Court verdict in 2018 on the Sabarimala temple entry issue, Singhvi said, “Lord Ayyappa in Sabarimala is the only form of Ayyappa in the form of eternal celibacy, i.e. ‘Naishtika Brahmachari’.”Pointing out that the entry of fertile women in the age group of 10-50 years is prohibited in the temple, he said, “The foundation of his power and fame is his capacity as an eternal celibate. Therefore all forms of female reproduction and all practices of ‘grihasthashram’ should be sincerely kept away from the inner nature and identity of the deity.”Singhvi’s argument summed up the CPM’s political dilemma, where it had gone from enthusiastically supporting the Supreme Court’s decision in the Sabarimala case to opposing it with equal enthusiasm. This reversal led to a backlash, resulting in the CPM’s defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.Terming the 2018 Supreme Court judgment as wrong, Singhvi said, “This distancing and exclusion of fertile women with child-bearing potential has a direct bearing on the faith, belief and purpose for which the worshipers approach the deity and cannot be construed as exclusion for remotely extraneous and irrelevant reasons.”The TDB said it is not gender-exclusion as women below 10 years of age and above 50 years of age are allowed to enter the Sabarimala temple. According to age-old religious belief, “Maintaining the sanctity of the idol/deity in the form of secular celibacy is also a paramount object to be tried to achieve”.Singhvi told the bench that PILs should be discouraged in matters related to religious rights, which have innate rights.

US will not extend temporary sanctions relief on sales of Russian and Iranian oil

US will not extend temporary sanctions relief on sales of Russian and Iranian oil

Treasury Secretary Scott Besant signaled the approach of tougher sanctions on Wednesday, saying the United States would not extend a temporary waiver that already allows the sale of Russian oil and Iranian oil at sea.“We will not renew the general license on Russian oil,” Besant said at a press conference. Clarifying the scope of the earlier relief, he said: “That was oil that was on the water before March 11, so that’s all been used.”The decision comes a day after the Treasury Department indicated it would not renew similar waivers on Iranian oil, reinforcing Washington’s “maximum pressure” approach amid the ongoing US-Iran conflict. The earlier waivers were offered to ease global supply disruptions caused by the war and Iran’s move to effectively close the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global energy shipments. The waiver had allowed India to continue purchasing Russian oil, especially as disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz left many ships stuck at sea.Oil prices have soared since the conflict escalated, causing fuel prices to rise around the world, including in the United States. The temporary waivers were designed as short-term stabilization measures, allowing limited transactions involving oil already loaded on ships before a specified deadline. In March, the US issued a 30-day license to allow the delivery and sale of Russian crude oil loaded before March 12, with the exemption expiring on April 11. A similar waiver for Iranian oil, covering shipments loaded before March 20, is set to expire on April 19 and will also not be extended.Explaining the rationale behind the move, Besant had earlier said: “To continue the flow of oil into the global market, the Treasury Department is issuing a temporary waiver of 30 days to allow Indian refiners to purchase Russian oil. This deliberately short-term measure will not yield significant financial benefits to the Russian government as it only authorizes transactions involving oil already stranded at sea.The waivers had allowed countries like India to secure additional supplies, with reports suggesting that Indian refiners had ordered about 30 million barrels of Russian oil during the period. Major refiners had earlier reduced purchases from Russian companies such as Rosneft and Lukoil following the sanctions.Despite its stated purpose, the waiver was sharply criticized by opposition Democrats in the US. Senator Richard Blumenthal said: “There is no way Russia sanctions relief should be extended. Trump’s waivers have given Russia an additional $150 billion per day to fuel its murderous war machine of murder and kidnapping of Ukrainian children – while it assists Iran with intelligence to target our troops.”Other Democratic leaders, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, also opposed the policy, calling it “dangerous” and urging the administration to reverse course.“In addition to violating notification requirements to Congress under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act before relaxing sanctions on the Kremlin, Secretary Besant described the license as a temporary and ‘short-term’ measure that will not provide significant financial benefits to the Russian government,” the senators said in a joint statement.“But Russia’s decision to cancel its planned budget cuts shows that, as we warned, Russia is directly benefiting from the administration’s sanctions relief. It is up to the Trump administration to reverse this dangerous policy, ensure Russia receives no additional benefits, and prevent the United States from further fueling Putin’s war machine,” he said.

US-Israel-Iran war news live updates: Iran has proposed allowing safe passage through the Oman side of the Strait of Hormuz in US talks, reports say.

US-Iran-Israel War News Live Updates: Pakistan has stepped up diplomatic efforts to revive stalled US-Iran talks, with its army chief arriving in Tehran for high-level discussions aimed at securing a second round of talks after nearly seven weeks of conflict. Islamabad, which hosted rare direct talks between the two sides, is emerging as a key mediator, with any new round likely to be held again in the Pakistani capital.

White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt on Wednesday said the next round of peace talks between the United States and Iran are likely to take place in Pakistan.

Responding to a question on the location of the upcoming talks, White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt said the discussions would “very likely” take place at the same location as the previous round.

“They’re very likely to be in the same place they were last time,” Leavitt said during a press conference.

Emphasizing Islamabad’s role, he said, “They (Pakistan) are the only mediator in this dialogue, whereas there are many countries around the world who want to offer their help.”

Even as backchannel diplomacy continues, tensions remain high. The United States has maintained a naval blockade of Iranian ports for the third consecutive day, increasing economic pressure on Tehran. Officials in Washington have warned of further sanctions on countries and entities doing business with Iran, in what one senior official described as the “financial equivalent” of the bombing campaign.

The US has deployed naval assets to monitor and control access to Iranian ports, with the aim of restricting Tehran’s oil exports, Tehran’s major source of revenue. While Washington says non-Iran-linked shipping can still pass through the Strait of Hormuz, military activity in the area has intensified.

President Donald Trump reinforced the hardline stance by announcing a sweeping blockade. “Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the finest in the world, will begin the process of blockading any and all ships attempting to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz,” he said, warning that “any Iranian who fires at us or peaceful ships will be blown up!”

Iran responded with stern warnings of its own, with the Revolutionary Guards warning that any misstep would trap opponents in a “fatal” situation in the strategic waterway, which Tehran says it completely controls.

The markets have reacted with panic. Oil prices have again risen above $100 a barrel, while global equities fell amid fears of prolonged disruption to energy supplies. Analysts have warned that the blockade is being seen as a continuation of hostilities, raising the possibility of further escalation, including attacks on critical energy infrastructure.
