यह घटना कुरारा थाना क्षेत्र के कुतुबपुर गांव में हुई. यहां रहने वाले शराजू की बेटी अंजलि की शादी थी। विदाई के बाद शाम करीब छह बजे परिजन तरबूज-खरबूज खिलाने के लिए यमुना पार खेतों में ले गए। विष्णु अपनी पत्नी ब्रजरानी और अन्य लोगों के साथ नाव में नदी पार कर गए। खेत में फल खाने के बाद नाव में बड़ी मात्रा में तरबूज और खरबूज लादकर सभी लोग लौटने लगे। लेकिन बीच नदी में नाव का संतुलन बिगड़ गया और वह अचानक पलट गई.

कार्यक्रम में प्रस्ताव रखा गया कि आगामी चुनाव में 50 फीसदी टिकट महिलाओं को दिये जाएं, ताकि राजनीतिक निर्णय प्रक्रिया में उनकी भागीदारी मजबूत हो सके. वक्ताओं ने कहा कि आज महिलाएं हर क्षेत्र में अपनी काबिलियत साबित कर रही हैं, इसलिए राजनीति में भी उन्हें समान अवसर मिलना चाहिए।

उन्होंने कहा कि क्रांति सेना महिला मोर्चा हर जिले में महिला कमांडो यूनिट बनाने की योजना पर काम करेगी. उन्होंने कहा कि इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं को जागरूक और आत्मरक्षा के लिए सक्षम बनाना है, ताकि जरूरत पड़ने पर वे अपनी और अन्य महिलाओं की सुरक्षा में मदद कर सकें.
पूनम चौधरी ने कहा कि महिलाओं को न केवल सामाजिक रूप से बल्कि मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से भी सशक्त बनाना समय की मांग है।

“बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ, बेटी लड़ो” अभियान चलाने का निर्णय
बैठक में कई महत्वपूर्ण प्रस्ताव पारित किये गये. इनमें पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश में बड़े पैमाने पर “बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ, बेटी लड़ो” अभियान चलाने का निर्णय प्रमुख था।
संगठन का कहना है कि इस अभियान का उद्देश्य सिर्फ शिक्षा तक ही सीमित नहीं रहेगा, बल्कि महिलाओं को उनके अधिकारों और सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूक करना भी इसका हिस्सा होगा।
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि समाज में महिलाओं की स्थिति मजबूत करने के लिए जागरूकता अभियान को गांव-गांव तक पहुंचाना जरूरी है.
ब्लॉक स्तर तक संगठन विस्तार की रणनीति
कार्यक्रम के दौरान संगठन को और मजबूत करने के लिए प्रत्येक ब्लॉक स्तर पर महिला मोर्चा इकाइयों का गठन करने का भी निर्णय लिया गया।
क्रांति सेना के अध्यक्ष मुकेश त्यागी और नगर अध्यक्ष देवेन्द्र चौहान कहा कि संगठन अब जमीनी स्तर पर महिलाओं की भागीदारी बढ़ाने पर विशेष ध्यान देगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि महिलाओं की सक्रिय भागीदारी से संगठन सामाजिक मुद्दों पर और अधिक प्रभावी ढंग से काम कर सकेगा।
महिलाओं ने संगठन को मजबूत करने का संकल्प लिया
कार्यक्रम के अंत में उपस्थित महिला कार्यकर्ताओं ने एकजुट होकर संगठन को मजबूत करने तथा समाज में महिलाओं की भूमिका को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाने का संकल्प लिया।
बैठक में उपस्थित महिलाओं ने कहा कि अब महिलाएं केवल सामाजिक गतिविधियों तक ही सीमित नहीं रहना चाहती, बल्कि निर्णय प्रक्रिया में भी अपनी भागीदारी चाहती हैं.
महिला सशक्तिकरण को लेकर बढ़ रही सक्रियता
हाल के दिनों में मुजफ्फरनगर और आसपास के इलाकों में महिला संगठनों की सक्रियता लगातार बढ़ती नजर आ रही है. सामाजिक सुरक्षा, राजनीतिक प्रतिनिधित्व और आत्मनिर्भरता जैसे मुद्दों पर महिलाओं की खुली भागीदारी अब ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों तक भी पहुंच रही है।
विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि ऐसी बैठकों से महिलाओं में जागरूकता बढ़ती है और उन्हें अपने अधिकारों के बारे में खुलकर बात करने का मंच मिलता है।
