उत्तराखंड हाई कोर्ट के आदेश को चुनौती देने पहुंचे उस्मान खान को सुप्रीम कोर्ट से बड़ा झटका लगा है. देश की सर्वोच्च अदालत ने उस्मान खान द्वारा दायर विशेष अनुमति याचिका (एसएलपी) को खारिज कर दिया है।

इस मामले की सुनवाई सोमवार, 5 मई, 2026 को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में न्यायमूर्ति संजय कुमार और न्यायमूर्ति के. विनोद चंद्रन की खंडपीठ के समक्ष सुनवाई के लिए सूचीबद्ध की जाएगी। सुनवाई के दौरान याचिकाकर्ता की ओर से वरिष्ठ वकील गगन गुप्ता और अन्य वकीलों ने अपना पक्ष रखा. कोर्ट ने इस मामले में दखल देने से साफ इनकार कर दिया. कोर्ट ने अपने आदेश में कहा कि फिलहाल हाई कोर्ट के आदेश में हस्तक्षेप करने का कोई उचित आधार नजर नहीं आता. इसके साथ ही विशेष अनुमति याचिका खारिज कर दी गयी. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि सभी लंबित आवेदन भी स्वत: निस्तारित माने जाएंगे। यह मुकदमा उत्तराखंड हाई कोर्ट नैनीताल द्वारा 27 फरवरी 2026 को पारित आदेश के खिलाफ दायर किया गया था। इस फैसले के बाद अब हाई कोर्ट का आदेश प्रभावी रहेगा और याचिकाकर्ता को फिलहाल कोई राहत नहीं मिल पाई है।
