Trump’s softening of rules will prevent physicians from travel-banned countries from leaving the US.

The Donald Trump administration has quietly backed off from its travel ban on nearly 39 countries and secretly allowed doctors from those countries to work and live in the US. The New York Times reported that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services updated its website late last week, without any formal announcement, that physicians are no longer subject to the processing hold. “Applications involving medical practitioners will continue to be processed,” the Department of Homeland Security told the NYT.As soon as the administration announced a travel ban on 39 countries, all immigration processing of applicants from those countries was halted. This included all types of visas, work permits, green cards etc. Doctors who were already working in the US were placed on administrative leave by the hospitals as they came under investigation.Since this was slowly leading to a healthcare crisis in the US as 25 percent of all doctors working in the US are foreign doctors, the administration lifted the ban only for doctors – but those who are already in the US. Doctors from Africa, the Middle East and Venezuela were also among those displaced from their jobs.The travel ban also affected existing foreign doctors in many ways. For example, Ezequiel Veliz, a Venezuelan family doctor, was detained by federal agents at a checkpoint in Texas on April 6. He lost legal status because his visa renewal was not being processed due to travel restrictions. He was released after 10 days.On April 8, several doctor associations, including the American Academies of Family Physicians, Neurology, and Pediatrics, signed a letter to the Secretaries of State and Homeland Security expressing “urgent concern” about barriers preventing “qualified, vetted physicians” from entering and remaining in the United States, and demanding a national interest exemption from the policy as well as expedited processing of their cases.“Affected physicians have not yet been informed of any changes to their visa process, but we are hopeful after seeing this update,” said Sebastian Arurana, founder of Project IMG, an organization representing thousands of international medical graduates in the United States.

Can doctors from these countries with travel restrictions come to America from outside?

There is lack of clarity on this issue. According to experts, this is not for physicians who are from these countries but are not currently present in the US. It is also not for residents visiting from outside the US as external travel restrictions are in place. Experts pointed out that this is apparently only for those doctors who are already in the US.

चार मासूम बच्चों की मौत
मृतक बच्चों की पहचान महरुआ निवासी नियाज की पत्नी के बच्चों के रूप में की गई है. इनमें तीन बेटे शफीक, सऊद और उमर और एक बेटी बयान शामिल हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि पूरा परिवार मीरांपुर इलाके में रहता था. बच्चों के शव बिस्तर पर पड़े मिले और चारों खून से लथपथ थे, जिससे हत्या का शक गहरा गया है. इतने छोटे बच्चों की मौत ने लोगों को अंदर तक झकझोर कर रख दिया है.

मां गायब, शक गहराया
घटना के वक्त बच्चों की मां घर पर मौजूद नहीं थीं और वह फिलहाल लापता बताई जा रही हैं। पुलिस को आशंका है कि इस घटना के पीछे कोई घरेलू विवाद हो सकता है. जानकारी के मुताबिक, बच्चों के पिता नियाज कई सालों से सऊदी अरब में काम करते हैं. उन्होंने एक पाकिस्तानी महिला से दूसरी शादी भी की थी. स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि इस बात को लेकर पहली पत्नी तनाव में थी.

पुलिस जांच और आगे की कार्रवाई
घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही पुलिस और फॉरेंसिक टीम मौके पर पहुंची और साक्ष्य जुटाने का काम शुरू किया गया. घर को सील कर दिया गया है और आसपास के लोगों से पूछताछ की जा रही है। पुलिस का कहना है कि सभी पहलुओं को ध्यान में रखकर जांच की जा रही है। मां की तलाश जारी है और जल्द ही मामले का खुलासा होने की उम्मीद है.

मुजफ्फरनगर स्थित श्री श्यामा श्याम मंदिर में आयोजित हुआ भागवत कथा कथा के दौरान व्यास गंगोत्री तिवारी मृदुल महाराज ने श्रीमद्भागवत महापुराण के गोकर्ण-धुंधकारी प्रसंग का विस्तार से वर्णन करते हुए श्रद्धालुओं को धर्म, भक्ति और सत्संग की महिमा से अवगत कराया। कथा के दौरान मंदिर परिसर में बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु मौजूद थे और पूरे माहौल में भक्ति की विशेष भावना नजर आ रही थी.

कथा व्यास ने बताया कि भागवत श्रवण मात्र एक धार्मिक अनुष्ठान नहीं बल्कि आत्मा के कल्याण का मार्ग है। उन्होंने कहा कि श्रीमद्भागवत कथा सुनने से जीवन के पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं और व्यक्ति को मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है।

तुंगभद्रा नदी के तट पर आत्मदेव और धुन्धुली की कथा का वर्णन |

कथा के दौरान प्राचीन घटना का जिक्र करते हुए बताया गया कि तुंगभद्रा नदी के तट पर आत्मदेव नाम का एक ब्राह्मण अपनी पत्नी धुंधुली के साथ रहता था। आत्मदेव धार्मिक स्वभाव के थे, जबकि धुंधुली का स्वभाव विपरीत और विवादास्पद बताया जाता है।

घर में सभी प्रकार की सुविधाएँ होने पर भी आत्मदेव संतान न होने के कारण अत्यंत दुःखी रहते थे। इस पीड़ा से व्यथित होकर उन्होंने एक साधु से अपना दुःख व्यक्त किया और संतान प्राप्ति की इच्छा व्यक्त की।

सन्यासी द्वारा फल तथा सन्तान प्राप्ति का उपाय |

साधु ने आत्मदेव को समझाया कि हर व्यक्ति को अपने कर्मों का फल भुगतना पड़ता है और उसे संतान की इच्छा छोड़ देनी चाहिए। लेकिन आत्मदेव के अनुरोध पर उन्होंने उसे एक दिव्य फल दिया और कहा कि यदि उसकी पत्नी एक वर्ष तक नियमित रूप से व्रत और पूजा करेगी तो उसे पुत्र की प्राप्ति होगी।

आत्मदेव प्रसन्न हुए और फल घर ले आए और अपनी पत्नी को सारी बात बताई, लेकिन धुंधुली बच्चा पैदा करने के लिए तैयार नहीं थी। अपनी सहेली से सलाह लेने के बाद उसने वह फल खाने से इनकार कर दिया और अपने पति से झूठ बोल दिया.

बहन की योजना से धुंधकारी का जन्म हुआ और गाय से गोकर्ण का जन्म हुआ।

कथा व्यास ने बताया कि कुछ समय बाद धुंधुली की बहन, जो उस समय गर्भवती थी, उससे मिलने आई। उन्होंने धुंधुली को सलाह दी कि वह फल गाय को खिला दे और उसके बच्चे के जन्म के बाद उसे दे दे।

धुंधुली ने वैसा ही किया. समय आने पर उसकी बहन ने एक पुत्र को जन्म दिया और उसे धुन्धुली को दे दिया। आत्मदेव अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुए और बालक का नाम धुन्धकारी रखा गया।

कुछ समय बाद उस गाय ने भी एक दिव्य बालक को जन्म दिया, जिसके कान गाय के समान थे और जिसकी चमक सोने के समान बताई गई थी। आत्मदेव ने उसका नाम गोकर्ण रखा।

गोकर्ण बुद्धिमान हो गया, शुद्धिकारी दुष्ट स्वभाव का हो गया।

समय के साथ दोनों बच्चे बड़े हो गये। गोकर्ण अत्यंत विद्वान, धर्मात्मा और ज्ञानी हो गया, जबकि धुन्धकारी का स्वभाव इसके विपरीत विकसित हुआ। वह चोरी और दुराचार में लिप्त रहने लगा और समाज में अनुचित व्यवहार करने लगा।

उनके कार्यों से परिवार की प्रतिष्ठा पर असर पड़ा और उनके पिता की संपत्ति भी नष्ट हो गई। अंततः आत्मदेव सांसारिक जीवन से विरक्त हो गये और तपस्या करने हेतु वन में चले गये।

दुष्ट संगति के कारण धुन्धकारी की मृत्यु एवं प्रेत योनि |

धुंधकारी की गलत संगति ने अंततः उसके जीवन को विनाश की ओर धकेल दिया। उसके साथियों ने उसकी हत्या कर दी, जिसके बाद उसे प्रेत योनि प्राप्त हुई। इस घटना ने कहानी के माध्यम से यह संदेश दिया कि बुरी संगति व्यक्ति के जीवन को पतन की ओर ले जाती है।

गोकर्ण ने अपने भाई की आत्मा की शांति के लिए गया सहित कई तीर्थ स्थानों पर श्राद्ध किया, लेकिन धुंधकारी की आत्मा को मुक्ति नहीं मिली।

सूर्यदेव की कृपा से मोक्ष का मार्ग मिला

कथा व्यास गंगोत्री तिवारी मृदुल महाराज ने बताया कि जब गोकर्ण ने सूर्य देव की स्तुति की तो उन्हें मार्गदर्शन मिला कि श्रीमद्भागवत कथा का श्रवण ही धुंधकारी की आत्मा की मुक्ति का एकमात्र उपाय है।

इसके बाद गोकर्ण ने भागवत कथा का आयोजन किया और धुंधकारी की आत्मा ने भी भक्तिभाव से कथा सुनी। कथा सुनने के प्रभाव से उसका प्रेत जीवन समाप्त हो गया और उसे मोक्ष की प्राप्ति हुई।

भागवत कथा सुनना जीवन का सबसे लाभकारी साधन बताया गया है।

कथा के दौरान बताया गया कि जो व्यक्ति श्रीमद्भागवत कथा नहीं सुनता उसका जीवन आध्यात्मिक दृष्टि से अधूरा रहता है। कथा सुनने से मन शुद्ध होता है और व्यक्ति धर्म के मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ता है।

कथा के माध्यम से श्रद्धालुओं ने जीवन में सदाचार, सत्संग व भक्ति की आवश्यकता को समझा।

धार्मिक आयोजन में श्रद्धालुओं की उल्लेखनीय भागीदारी रही.

Lucknow: Two teenagers trapped above an overhead water tank in Siddharthnagar district were rescued Indian Air Force A fatal accident occurred about 15 hours after helicopter stairs collapsed on Sunday morning.The sequence of events began on Saturday afternoon in Belasad Tappa Tharauli village of Navgarh tehsil near Kanshiram Awas Colony, where five children allegedly climbed onto a disused and dilapidated water tank to record a video.Suddenly, the stairs of the structure collapsed, causing three of them to fall. Siddharth, 13, died on the spot, while two others, 14-year-old Golu and 11-year-old Sunny, were injured and admitted to Madhav Prasad Tripathi Medical College.Two other teenagers, 17-year-old Pawan and 17-year-old Kallu, were left stranded on top of the tank after the ladder collapsed. The structure, built for domestic water supply, was reportedly unused for many years due to its poor condition.After the incident, Chief Minister… Yogi Adityanath Took cognizance and directed officials to ensure safe and prompt rescue. The district administration, police and disaster response teams reached the spot and tried to bring down the trapped teenagers.However, the height of the tank, broken stairs and waterlogging of the surrounding area – which made the ground boggy and unsuitable for heavy machinery – hampered rescue efforts. A hydraulic ladder vehicle was also brought from Gorakhpur, but efforts continued throughout the night but without success.As ground efforts failed, District Magistrate Shivasharanappa GN sought assistance from the Indian Air Force through the State Relief Commissioner’s office.The DM said, “After road access failed due to marshy ground and bad weather conditions, we activated an alternative plan and coordinated through the Chief Minister’s Office and secured the Indian Air Force helicopter from Gorakhpur. The rescue operation was successfully conducted around 5.30 am and both the boys were airlifted safely.”“During the 16-hour operation, we used drones to provide water and snacks to the stranded children. I thank the CM for his timely coordination, who made the helicopter available. The children are healthy and had gone for routine medical checkup before returning home.”He said that due to difficult terrain and poor road access, rescue operations for stranded children require coordination between the fire department and the Indian Air Force.Following the request an IAF Mi-17 V5 helicopter was deployed from Central Air Command, Prayagraj. The helicopter reached the spot on Sunday morning and conducted an air rescue operation at around 5.15 am and brought down the two trapped teenagers safely.“On the request of State Government officials, an IAF Mi 17 V5 of Central Air Command (CAC) was deployed to rescue two stranded children above a water tank in Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The children were stranded at night as the ladder of the water tank was damaged,” CAC posted on Twitter.The police have sent the body of the deceased child for post-mortem.

What were ‘Singham’ officers doing if there was massive rigging during polling? If the entire constituency was rigged in Singham’s area, then he is not Singham, he is a rat. He should be suspended first. There should be accountability. What was the Army doing when the entire constituency was rigged?” Ghosh asked.
