47 year old Baljeet Singh He is being treated in the burns unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital after suffering burns to about 70 per cent of his body in a fire at the Mustard Seed restaurant in Hahndorf on Tuesday night.Family members said Singh acted without hesitation when a fire suddenly broke out inside the compound, Australia Today reported.His brother-in-law Inderjit Singh told 7News that when the flames spread in the building, Baljit pushed his sister Satbir away.Indrajit said, “My brother-in-law… I got very angry at him and he saved my wife. He is a brave man.”According to the family, the couple had gone inside the restaurant after hearing an unusual sound when suddenly flames started rising.Indrajit said: “Suddenly a big fire lit up… He pushed my wife and he got burnt to a great extent, and my wife also got burnt.”Baljeet Singh has undergone emergency surgery as doctors continue efforts to stabilize his condition. His relatives described his injuries as extremely serious and said they were hopeful of his recovery.The family said, “His entire skin is burnt… his entire body is 70 per cent burnt. He is a tough man and we are praying for him.”The family is grappling with the trauma while also battling online rumors that they were involved in setting the fire.Indrajit said, “I am very saddened by the rumors and speculations.”He further said, “It is really devastating because right now we are going through a lot of pain and mental pressure.”Mustard Seed Restaurant owners said the establishment is more than a business, calling it a second home built on memories and regular customers.South Australian police are still investigating the cause of the fire. संपूर्ण समाधान दिवस में फरियादी अपनी-अपनी समस्या लेकर पहुंचे। किसी ने राजस्व संबंधी समस्या बताई तो किसी ने पुलिस संबंधी शिकायत की। पुलिस अधीक्षक एवं जिलाधिकारी ने सभी शिकायतों को गंभीरता एवं संवेदनशीलता के साथ सुना। उन्होंने प्रत्येक आवेदन की समीक्षा की और संबंधित अधिकारियों को त्वरित कार्रवाई करने का निर्देश दिया.
समयबद्ध एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण निस्तारण पर जोर दिया
अधिकारियों ने साफ कहा कि शिकायतों का निस्तारण समय से और उचित तरीके से किया जाए। पुलिस अधीक्षक सत्यनारायण ने निर्देश दिये कि जिन मामलों में पुलिस की भूमिका हो, उनमें त्वरित एवं पारदर्शी तरीके से कार्रवाई की जाये. उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि पीड़ितों को अनावश्यक परेशानी नहीं होनी चाहिए.
राजस्व एवं अन्य विभागों को भी निर्देश
जिलाधिकारी अमित पाल ने राजस्व विभाग एवं अन्य संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारियों को लंबित मामलों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर निस्तारित करने के निर्देश दिये। उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों की समस्याओं का त्वरित समाधान करना प्रशासन की जिम्मेदारी है और इसमें किसी भी तरह की लापरवाही नहीं होनी चाहिए.
कई विभागों के अधिकारी मौजूद थे
इस कार्यक्रम में राजस्व और पुलिस विभाग समेत कई अन्य विभागों के अधिकारी और कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे. सभी ने मिलकर यह प्रयास किया कि लोगों की समस्याओं का समुचित समाधान हो और उन्हें समय पर न्याय मिले।

Four foreign nationals in New Jersey have been charged with voting illegally in US federal elections and making false statements in their citizenship applications.U.S. Attorney Robert Fraser announced that David Neville, 73, of Atlantic County; Jacenth Beadle Exum, 70, of Bergen County; Idan Choresh, 43, of Monmouth County; and Abhinandan Vig, 33, of Monmouth County, were all foreign residents at the time they were registered to vote. Each of them falsely claimed to be US citizens on voter registration forms, which is a legal requirement to participate in federal elections.According to the complaints, Neville voted in the 2020 and 2024 general elections, Beadle Exum and Wigg voted in 2020, and Choresh voted in the 2022 election, including the race for the U.S. House of Representatives.Authorities further alleged that after the vote, all four applied for U.S. citizenship using Form N-400 Naturalization Applications, in which they swore that they had never registered or voted in a federal election.Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch said, “This administration will not tolerate aliens who attempt to vote in our elections even when they know they are not eligible.”He added: “As alleged, these green card holders lied to register to vote and then lied to immigration authorities by falsely claiming to have never voted in a federal election.”Neevili is accused of voting by an alien and making false statements in naturalization cases. Choresh has been charged with voting by an alien, unlawful purchase of citizenship or naturalization and making false statements. Wigg is charged with unlawful purchase of citizenship or naturalization, while Beadle Axum is charged with two counts of false statements regarding naturalization.FBI Director Kash Patel said: “Voting of non-citizens is a federal crime – period – and while other administrations may have looked the other way in the past, those days are over. मंसूरपुर थाना क्षेत्र में पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए महज 36 घंटे के अंदर पशु चोरी की घटना का खुलासा कर दिया. मुजफ्फरनगर पुलिस मुठभेड़ के दौरान एक अपराधी को गोली लगी और वह घायल हो गया, जबकि उसके एक साथी को तलाशी अभियान में गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। उनके कब्जे से चोरी की तीन गायें, अवैध हथियार और घटना में प्रयुक्त पिकअप गाड़ी बरामद की गई।
फरार तीसरे आरोपी की तलाश में पुलिस टीम लगातार छापेमारी कर रही है.
मोरकुक्का गांव से तीन गायें चोरी हो गईं
घटना की शुरुआत 30 अप्रैल को हुई, जब गांव मोरुक्का निवासी विकास कुमार ने मंसूरपुर थाने में सूचना दी कि अज्ञात चोरों ने उनके घर से तीन गायें चोरी कर ली हैं. शिकायत के आधार पर पुलिस ने संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर त्वरित जांच शुरू कर दी है.
वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के निर्देश पर पुलिस की विशेष टीम गठित कर आरोपियों की तलाश तेज कर दी गई.
निजामपुर-मुबारिकपुर रोड पर पुलिस और बदमाशों के बीच मुठभेड़
1/2 मई की रात को पुलिस टीम निजामपुर-मुबारिकपुर बस स्टैंड के पास संदिग्ध वाहनों की चेकिंग कर रही थी. इसी दौरान एक संदिग्ध पिकअप गाड़ी आती दिखाई दी। पुलिस ने रुकने का इशारा किया तो गाड़ी में सवार बदमाश भागने लगे।
भागने के प्रयास में गाड़ी खेतों में फंस गई, जिसके बाद बदमाश गाड़ी से उतरकर पुलिस टीम पर फायरिंग करते हुए खेतों की ओर भागने लगे.
जवाबी कार्रवाई में एक बदमाश घायल, दूसरा पकड़ा गया
आत्मसमर्पण की चेतावनी मिलने के बाद पुलिस टीम ने आत्मरक्षा में जवाबी कार्रवाई की, जिसमें एक बदमाश घायल हो गया. पुलिस ने घायल आरोपी को मौके से ही गिरफ्तार कर लिया, जबकि दूसरे आरोपी को कॉम्बिंग के दौरान पकड़ लिया गया.
एक अन्य आरोपी अंधेरे और खड़ी फसल का फायदा उठाकर भाग निकला।
तीन गायें, अवैध हथियार और पिकअप गाड़ी बरामद
गिरफ्तार अभियुक्तों के कब्जे से चोरी की तीन गायें सकुशल बरामद की गयीं। इसके अलावा पुलिस ने एक पिकअप ट्रक और अवैध हथियार भी बरामद किए हैं.
पुलिस के मुताबिक आरोपी इन जानवरों को बेचने के मकसद से मवेशी बाजार ले जा रहे थे.
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों ने पूछताछ में जुर्म कबूल कर लिया है
प्रारंभिक पूछताछ में आरोपियों ने स्वीकार किया कि वे काफी समय से पशु चोरी की घटनाओं में संलिप्त थे और चोरी किये गये पशुओं को बेचकर अवैध आर्थिक लाभ कमाते थे।
उसने बताया कि तीनों गायें अपने फरार साथी के साथ मिलकर गांव मोरुक्का के एक घर से चोरी की थीं।
घायल आरोपी अस्पताल में भर्ती, तीसरे आरोपी की तलाश जारी
घायल आरोपी को इलाज के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है. पुलिस फरार आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए लगातार संभावित ठिकानों पर छापेमारी कर रही है.
मामले में आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई चल रही है.

उत्तरकाशी जिले में मूसलाधार बारिश के कारण मनेरी झरने के पास पहाड़ी पर करीब 200 मीटर की ऊंचाई से अचानक काले पानी के झरने के साथ बोल्डर गिर गए. पानी आते ही लोग अपनी जान बचाने के लिए नीचे गंगोत्री हाईवे पर दुकानों और घरों से भाग गए।
उधर, प्रशासन ने उस समय भटवाड़ी और हीना में यातायात बंद कर दिया। करीब आधे घंटे तक पहाड़ी से पानी और पत्थरों का विशाल झरना गिरता रहा। बारिश रुकने और जलस्तर कम होने के बाद बोल्डर गिरना बंद हो गए। इसके बाद लोगों ने राहत की सांस ली. बारिश रुकने के बाद हाईवे से बोल्डर हटाए गए और यातायात शुरू हुआ। आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, सुरक्षा के मद्देनजर वहां पुलिस तैनात कर दी गई है और आसपास के लोगों को अलर्ट पर रहने को कहा गया है.

While one worker, Tarsem Lal, was rescued and admitted to hospital with injuries, three bodies were recovered during the 12-hour operation. The deceased were identified as Panchu Sethi (50) from Ganjam district of Odisha and Harish Kumar (28) and Raj Kumar (30) from Chhattisgarh.“Mohammad Jafar, a fire and emergency department official, was also injured after being hit by a rock during the rescue operation and has been admitted to the hospital,” an official said.Soon after the bridge collapse, teams from police, army, SDRF, NDRF and civil administration reached the spot and launched a coordinated rescue operation. Heavy machinery including JCBs were pressed into service to expedite search and rescue efforts.Deputy CM Surinder Kumar Choudhary visited the spot at midnight and ordered assistant executive engineer Sahil Verma and junior engineer Sajjad Mir to be suspended pending investigation under Rule 331 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules-1956.The government has also constituted a three-member inquiry committee, which has been tasked to investigate all aspects of the incident including any dereliction of duty by departmental officials and specifically fix the responsibility of the executing agency. The committee will also recommend action against those responsible and suggest measures to prevent such incidents in future. It has been directed to submit its report within 15 days.
