प्रदेश में उद्यानिकी विभाग की 92 नर्सरियां हैं। इनमें से कई का पूरा उपयोग नहीं हो पा रहा है. ऐसे में विभाग ने इन्हें पुनर्जीवित करने की योजना बनाई है, ताकि किसानों को बेहतर गुणवत्ता के पौधे उपलब्ध कराए जा सकें. प्रत्येक नर्सरी के लिए नोडल अधिकारी नियुक्त किये गये हैं, जो पुनरुद्धार हेतु विस्तृत कार्ययोजना तैयार करेंगे। नोडल अधिकारी स्थानीय फसल उत्पादन चक्र और विभाग की मिशन मोड योजनाओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए वार्षिक मांग का आकलन करेंगे।
