He further said, “The sentiment of the people was clearly in favor of our leader returning to power, as we saw during his campaigns. By the grace of God, this will happen at the appropriate time.” The comments come amid the volatile political situation in Tamil Nadu, where smaller parties have emerged as major players in government formation talks following a hung verdict in the 234-member assembly. Actor-turned-politician Vijay’s Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), which won 108 seats, has reshaped the political arithmetic. Congress has extended its support with five seats, taking the number of the emerging faction to 113. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Communist Party of India, both with two MLAs each, are holding separate executive meetings to decide their next course of action. Their support could take the TVK-led group to 117 seats – just one short of the majority mark of 118. CPI(M) leader P Shanmugam said the party has received formal communication from TVK chief Vijay. He said, “The TVK chief has sent a letter to our party. Our state committee meeting will be held tomorrow morning; we will take our decision in that.” He said, “As per the Constitution, it is the TVK that should be allowed to form the government. We have never seen such a situation in a Tamil Nadu assembly election, and now we have a hung assembly. It is the Governor who should invite Vijay to form the government because he is leading,” Shanmugam said. Meanwhile, the Viduthalai Chiruthigal Katchi (VCK), which was earlier part of the DMK alliance and held two seats, is also set to call a high-level meeting to decide its stand. If CPI(M), CPI, VCK and Congress formally support TVK, the alliance will cross the majority threshold. Meanwhile, AIADMK, the third largest party with 47 seats, has intensified internal discussions as its leaders keep meeting General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami will explore alliance options The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is also scheduled to hold a review meeting on the election results under the leadership of state president Nainar Nagendran at its headquarters in Chennai. The series of meetings reflects the ongoing high-level talks following the hung assembly verdict, making government formation dependent on post-poll alliance.

मंदिर परिसर का सौंदर्यीकरण किया जा रहा है
जानकारी के मुताबिक, श्री दुर्गेश्वरी देवी मंदिर अयोध्या के प्रसिद्ध सिद्ध मंदिरों में से एक माना जाता है। मंदिर समिति व स्थानीय लोगों के सहयोग से मंदिर का सौंदर्यीकरण किया जा रहा है. मंदिर के सामने स्थित प्राचीन कुएं को भी सुंदर रूप दिया गया है। कुएं के संरक्षण के लिए लोगों से इसमें कूड़ा न फेंकने की अपील की गई है। इसके लिए कुएं पर एक खास पत्थर भी लगाया गया है, जिस पर साफ शब्दों में एक संदेश लिखा हुआ है. कुएं के ऊपर एक सिंह द्वार बनाया गया है और वहां एक स्वर्ण सिंह भी स्थापित किया गया है। मंदिर परिसर को आकर्षक और भव्य बनाने के लिए लगातार काम किया जा रहा है.

14 मई को प्रतिमा स्थापना कार्यक्रम होगा
मंदिर समिति की बैठक में 14 मई 2026 को होने वाले विशेष कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा तैयार की गयी. इस दिन नौ देवियों, भगवान गणेश और भगवान महाबली हनुमान जी की मूर्तियां स्थापित की जाएंगी। बैठक में पूजा-अर्चना, भोग-प्रसाद और आगामी तीज-त्योहारों पर होने वाले धार्मिक आयोजनों को लेकर भी चर्चा हुई. बैठक मंदिर समिति के अध्यक्ष राणा रोहित सिंह की अध्यक्षता में हुई. इस दौरान संरक्षक वीरेश्वर सिंह, विजेंद्र कुमार सिंह व रामचन्द्र जयसवाल समेत कई लोग मौजूद थे.

मंदिर मार्ग का नामकरण भी करने की मांग
मंदिर समिति की ओर से यह भी कहा गया है कि अयोध्या विधायक वेद प्रकाश गुप्ता और नगर निगम के मेयर महंत गिरीश पति त्रिपाठी को इस सड़क का नाम “श्री दुर्गेश्वरी देवी मंदिर मार्ग” रखने की मांग करनी चाहिए. बैठक में संतोष सहेता, मनीष जयसवाल, संदीप जयसवाल, विजय साहू, रवींद्र कुमार गुप्ता, रामकुमार सोनी, नंदकुमार भारती, महेश आहूजा, सरदार सोनू सिंह व सरदार राजा सिंह समेत कई लोग उपस्थित थे.

Yet researchers later identified them as Sclerotium stipitatum, a rare underground fungus known locally as “Neelamanga” or “Earth Mango”, as reported by Kerala local news.The name itself seems misleading. It suggests some forgotten varieties of fruit buried almost underground. In fact, it is a rare fungus that grows secretly beneath the soil surface, often in areas rich in termite activity. Researchers say such discoveries are becoming increasingly uncommon, partly because underground fungi throughout India are poorly studied. Some experts also believe that many species may become extinct before they can be properly documented by science.

Rare ‘earth mango‘Underground discovery reveals hidden fungus species

As reported by Onmanorama, the organism discovered in Karakuryu was identified as Sclerotium stipitatum, a little-known underground fungus species. Reports suggest that around 20 underground fungal structures were recovered from the site during the excavation process.Unlike normal mushrooms that appear above the soil after rain, this fungus grows mostly underground. That hidden developmental pattern becomes difficult to detect and even more difficult to study under natural conditions. Researchers say this may explain why this species rarely appears in biodiversity records despite being present in some areas for generations.Residents reportedly recognized the fungus immediately. In parts of Kerala, it has long been known by names such as “Neelamanga” and “Chithalakizhangu”. The nickname “earth mango” appears to have come primarily from its size and underground appearance rather than from any connection to true mangoes.Scientists have confirmed that there is no botanical relationship between the fungus and edible mango fruits.

Why is rare earth mango fungus attracting medical interest?

This discovery has generated interest largely because of the medicinal importance of the fungus in local traditional practices. For many years, people of the region have associated it with the treatment of cough, cold, stomach problems, jaundice, ear pain and body pain.
