New Delhi: Fielding Suvendu Adhikari – who defeated the CM Mamata Banerjee In his constituency, Nandigram, in 2021 – it was only the beginning of the Union Minister against him in Bhabanipur Amit ShahA determined effort to defeat the TMC supremo in her own backyard. What followed was tough groundwork and precise execution of focused management, which ultimately led to his stunning downfall, leading to the collapse of his party in Bengal – Suvendu’s giant-killing feat was the most dramatic upset in the elections. But behind the headlines was a lot of ‘quiet work’ done under Shah’s watch. Sources in the know in the BJP say that the Home Minister was determined to make every possible effort to defeat Mamata in her stronghold, as she had prepared the way for BJP’s victory.

With the belligerent Suvendu proving unsuccessful, Shah planned to prepare a dedicated team for Bhabanipur to ensure effective implementation of his strategy. These communities alleged that TMC members resorted to strong-arm tactics to prevent them from voting in earlier elections and that fake votes were often cast in their names. “He said that if his society was provided security, they would be able to vote freely. Shah ensured that security arrangements were made at every such place,” a BJP functionary said.

Shah’s team also appointed a dedicated booth-level in-charge at each booth in Bhawanipur. His job was twofold – to flag any internal rifts within the party and to report any TMC threats on the ground. Shah’s personal goal was to get all BJP workers to vote before 11 am and then work to ensure maximum turnout for the party. BJP members, including MLAs from other states with whom different communities may belong, were also deployed. Through the SIR process, around 47,000 names were removed from the voter list in Bhabanipur – these were either dead voters or duplicate entries which the TMC alleged were exploited to cast fake votes. Eventually all efforts came together and Mamata suffered a crushing defeat by over 15,000 votes, which very few people had expected, although she alleged that the elections were stolen from her and her party through undemocratic means.

उत्तर प्रदेश के फतेहपुर जिले से एक बेहद चौंकाने वाला मामला सामने आया है, जिससे इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया है. मामला मलवां थाना क्षेत्र के बढ़ैयापुर गांव का है, जहां एक युवक की पीट-पीटकर बेरहमी से हत्या कर दी गई. बताया जा रहा है कि युवक अपनी शादीशुदा प्रेमिका से मिलने उसके ससुराल गया था. इसी बीच प्रेमिका के पति और परिजनों ने उसे पकड़ लिया और भैंस चोरी का आरोप लगाकर पीटना शुरू कर दिया, जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई.

प्रेमिका ने बुलाया तो पति ने पकड़कर पीटा
जानकारी के मुताबिक, मृतक कमलेश प्रजापति (42) निवासी भिटौरा थाना हुसैनगंज पहले से ही तारा देवी नाम की महिला के संपर्क में था. तारा देवी की शादी बढ़ैयापुर गांव में हुई थी. आरोप है कि महिला ने ही रात में मिलने के लिए कमलेश को बुलाया था। जब वह वहां पहुंचा तो महिला के पति मानसिंह और परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों ने उसे देख लिया। इसके बाद उन्होंने भैंस चोरी का शोर मचा दिया और कमलेश को पकड़कर लाठी-डंडों से बुरी तरह पीटना शुरू कर दिया।

भैंस चोरी की सूचना पुलिस को दी गई, टीम मौके पर पहुंची
ग्रामीणों ने घटना की सूचना यूपी 112 पर दी, जिसमें बताया गया कि एक व्यक्ति को भैंस चोरी करते हुए पकड़ा गया है. सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और घायल कमलेश को तुरंत जिला अस्पताल भेजा गया. हालांकि इलाज के दौरान सुबह करीब 6 बजे उनकी मौत हो गई.

परिजनों का आरोप, धोखे से बुलाकर की हत्या
मृतक के छोटे भाई सुमेश ने पुलिस को शिकायत देकर आरोप लगाया कि उसके भाई को साजिश के तहत बुलाया गया और फिर पीट-पीट कर मार डाला गया. उन्होंने बताया कि चार मई की रात को कमलेश घर से निकला था और वापस नहीं लौटा. सुबह ग्राम प्रधान से सूचना मिली कि उनका शव अस्पताल में है. कमलेश सिलाई का काम करता था। उनकी पत्नी सविता देवी और दो बेटियां कोमल (11) और विद्यावती (8) का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है।

तीन आरोपी गिरफ्तार, पूछताछ जारी
अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक ज्ञान प्रकाश राय ने बताया कि मामले में तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है, जबकि अन्य को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ की जा रही है. पुलिस ने मृतक के भाई की शिकायत पर मामला दर्ज कर लिया है और पोस्टमार्टम के बाद आगे की कार्रवाई की जा रही है. घटना के बाद थाना परिसर में भारी भीड़ जमा हो गई, जिसे देखते हुए सुरक्षा बढ़ानी पड़ी.

New Delhi: A nine-judge bench of the Supreme Court led by CJI Surya Kant on Tuesday said the Supreme Court should have thrown into the dustbin the original PIL in 2006 which had struck down the practice of restricting entry of women in the age group of 10 to 50 years in the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple. “All India Young Lawyers Association”, which had filed the PIL in 2006 through its president Naushad Ali, through senior advocate RP Gupta explained how the petition challenging the ban was filed due to the misbehavior of the Ayyappa temple tantri. A bench led by CJI Kant said that the Supreme Court could have ordered a probe into the misconduct to punish the culprits. But based on newspaper reports, the PIL could not be considered.The bench said, “The SC had considered the PIL on the basis of ‘documents’ which should have been thrown in the dustbin. Locus standi was generated on the basis of newspaper reports. The SC should have ensured that action against the culprit is expedited and nothing more.” The nine-judge bench includes CJI Kant, Justice BV Nagarathna, MM Sundaresh, Ahsanuddin Amanullah, Arvind Kumar, Augustine G Masih, Prasanna B Varale, R Mahadevan and Joymalya Bagchi. Justice Kumar asked whether the lawyers’ body had passed any resolution to file PIL and whether it was a registered body. Gupta said no resolution was reached and although Naushad Ali was only a nominal lender, he and his lawyer were threatened. Gupta said, “The then CJI Deepak Mishra, who was the architect of the controversial decision, had offered security to the petitioner and his lawyer. Then CJI Mishra had said that even if the petitioner wanted to withdraw the PIL, the court would not allow it.” CJI Kant said, “So was it actually a suo motu petition (taken up by the court itself) filed by the petitioner organization?” The suggestion that the case was, in fact, prepared by a bench led by the then CJI Mishra found some vindication in Justice Nagarathna’s comment: “This is a realistic assessment of the CJI (Kant).”Justice Nagarathna said, “The former CJI had offered security to you and the president of the petitioner organization. He could have ensured that you did not face any security threat by not entertaining the petition. Why would a person who does not believe in Ayyappa question the decades-long temple customs based on the faith and belief of the devotees?” He asked, “Are you the chief priest of the country who will question the temple customs and say how such a practice can happen in the Ayyappa temple of Sabarimala.” Justice Sundaresh said this appeared to be a clear case of abuse of the process of law. Justice Nagarathna said the Supreme Court now considers genuine public interest litigations and is strictly against personal-publicity-money-political interest litigations.

विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन के मुताबिक बीए, बीएससी, बीकॉम समेत उन सभी स्नातक प्रथम सेमेस्टर के पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए आवेदन किया जा सकता है जिनमें प्रवेश के लिए इंटरमीडिएट योग्यता निर्धारित है। इसके अलावा, उम्मीदवार विभिन्न व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण कर सकते हैं।

पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया के लिए उम्मीदवार https://ukadmission.samarth.ac.in पोर्टल पर आवेदन करना होगा। इसके लिए 50 रुपये रजिस्ट्रेशन शुल्क निर्धारित किया गया है. रजिस्ट्रार दिनेश चंद्रा की ओर से जारी सूचना में अभ्यर्थियों को रजिस्ट्रेशन प्रक्रिया समय पर पूरी करने की सलाह दी गई है. स्नातक प्रथम सेमेस्टर में प्रवेश के लिए ऑनलाइन रजिस्ट्रेशन की अंतिम तिथि 30 मई निर्धारित की गई है।

अयोध्या से एक अहम मांग सामने आई है, जिसमें देश के प्रमुख तीर्थ स्थलों के विकास पर जोर दिया गया है. गंगोत्री से गंगासागर तक श्रद्धालुओं के लिए सुविधाएं बेहतर करने की बात कही गई है। हनुमानगढ़ी से जुड़े संत महंत संजय दास महाराज ने पश्चिम बंगाल में बनने वाली नई सरकार से गंगासागर के समग्र विकास की अपील की है. उन्होंने कहा कि हर साल यहां लाखों श्रद्धालु पहुंचते हैं, लेकिन सुविधाओं के अभाव के कारण उन्हें कई परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ता है. ऐसे में अब सरकार से बेहतर इंतजाम की उम्मीद की जा रही है.

गंगासागर के विकास पर जोर
अयोध्या के प्रसिद्ध संत महंत संजय दास महाराज ने गंगासागर के विकास के बारे में बोलते हुए कहा कि यह देश का बहुत महत्वपूर्ण तीर्थ स्थल है. वह गंगासागर स्थित कपिल मुनि आश्रम से भी जुड़े हुए हैं, इसलिए वहां के हालात को करीब से जानते हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि यहां हर साल बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु आते हैं, लेकिन व्यवस्थाएं उतनी मजबूत नहीं हैं.

श्रद्धालुओं के लिए सुविधाएं बढ़ाने की मांग
महंत संजय दास ने सरकार से गंगासागर में सफाई, आवास, सुरक्षा और अन्य बुनियादी सुविधाएं बेहतर करने की अपील की. उन्होंने कहा कि तीर्थयात्रियों को आरामदायक एवं सुरक्षित वातावरण मिलना चाहिए। इसके लिए ठोस एवं दीर्घकालिक योजना बनाना आवश्यक है।

पिछली सरकार पर उठाए सवाल
उन्होंने कहा कि पिछली सरकार के दौरान तीर्थयात्रियों को कई कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा था. व्यवस्थाएं न होने से लोगों को दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ा। अब नई सरकार से उम्मीद है कि वह प्राथमिकता के आधार पर इन समस्याओं का समाधान करेगी और तीर्थ स्थलों के विकास पर ध्यान देगी।

नई सरकार में आशा और विश्वास
महंत संजय दास महाराज ने विश्वास जताया कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार सनातन संस्कृति और धार्मिक स्थलों के संरक्षण के लिए काम करेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सरकार भगवान विष्णु के पांचवें अवतार कपिल मुनि के आशीर्वाद से ही बनी है और अब पश्चिम बंगाल के विकास को नई दिशा मिलेगी.

प्रधानमंत्री को बधाई दी
इस मौके पर महंत ने नरेंद्र मोदी को उनकी जीत पर हार्दिक बधाई दी और उनके नेतृत्व में देश की निरंतर प्रगति की कामना की.
