प्रतापगढ़ जिले के महेशगंज थाना क्षेत्र में बुधवार सुबह एक बड़ा सड़क हादसा सामने आया है। गंगा एक्सप्रेस-वे पर लोकियापुर गांव के पास टमाटर से लदा ट्रक अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर पलट गया। इस हादसे में ट्रक चालक समेत तीन लोग घायल हो गए। हादसे के बाद मौके पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई और कुछ देर के लिए यातायात भी प्रभावित हुआ. स्थानीय लोगों और पुलिस की मदद से घायलों को तुरंत अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया. घायलों में एक की हालत गंभीर बताई जा रही है.

ट्रक अमरोहा से उड़ीसा जा रहा था
जानकारी के मुताबिक, यह ट्रक टमाटर लादकर अमरोहा से प्रयागराज होते हुए उड़ीसा जा रहा था. जैसे ही ट्रक लोकियापुर गांव के पास पहुंचा, अचानक चालक ने नियंत्रण खो दिया और ट्रक सड़क पर पलट गया. हादसा इतना भीषण था कि ट्रक पूरी तरह सड़क पर गिर गया और उसमें बैठे लोग घायल हो गए।

तीन लोग घायल, एक की हालत गंभीर
इस हादसे में ट्रक चालक शहनाज, शेर अली और परवेज घायल हो गए। घायलों को तुरंत स्थानीय अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां प्राथमिक उपचार दिया गया. शेर अली की हालत गंभीर देख डॉक्टरों ने सभी घायलों को बेहतर इलाज के लिए एम्स रायबरेली रेफर कर दिया। फिलहाल शेर अली की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है.

हादसे के बाद ट्रक में लदा टमाटर सड़क पर बिखर गया. यह देख आसपास के गांवों के लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और बोरे में टमाटर व अन्य सामान ले जाते दिखे. इस दौरान कुछ देर के लिए वहां भीड़ लग गई.

पुलिस की कार्रवाई और यातायात बहाल
घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही महेशगंज थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची. एसएसआई नीरज कुशवाह ने बताया कि पुलिस ने घायलों को तुरंत अस्पताल पहुंचाया और क्षतिग्रस्त ट्रक को हटवाकर गंगा एक्सप्रेस-वे पर यातायात सुचारू कराया गया। फिलहाल पुलिस पूरे मामले की जांच कर रही है.
