अपर शिक्षा निदेशक के मुताबिक शिक्षक भर्ती का मामला वर्ष 2018-19 का है. उस समय शिक्षक भर्ती की नियमावली में प्रावधान था कि प्राइमरी में सहायक अध्यापक पद पर भर्ती के लिए अभ्यर्थी के पास बीएड होना चाहिए। जिनके ग्रेजुएशन में 50 फीसदी अंक होने चाहिए. भर्ती के दौरान विभाग ने योग्यता पूरी नहीं करने वाले शिक्षकों के आवेदन रद्द कर दिये थे, लेकिन इसके खिलाफ कुछ अभ्यर्थी कोर्ट चले गये थे. तब कोर्ट ने उनके मामले में आदेश दिया था कि शिक्षा विभाग उनका आवेदन ले और उनकी नियुक्ति को कोर्ट के अंतिम निर्णय के अधीन रखे.

अपर शिक्षा निदेशक ने बताया कि इस मामले में हाईकोर्ट ने अंतिम फैसला दे दिया है। जिसके बाद अर्हता पूरी नहीं करने वाले इन शिक्षकों की सेवाएं समाप्त कर दी गई हैं. इनमें से 10 शिक्षक रुद्रप्रयाग जिले के हैं। जबकि अन्य शिक्षक उधम सिंह नगर, पौडी, पिथौरागढ, टेहरी जिलों से हैं।

शिक्षकों को जनगणना ड्यूटी से हटाया गया

जिन शिक्षकों की सेवा समाप्त की गई है, उन्हें जनगणना ड्यूटी से भी हटा दिया गया है. बताया गया है कि इनमें से कई शिक्षक जनगणना ड्यूटी पर थे. विभाग से सेवा समाप्ति के बाद उनकी जनगणना ड्यूटी भी हटा दी गई है।
